Geri Coady (ジェリー)

Hello! Long time no post. 🌸 Here's some new work from my residency at the Mokuhanga School in Karuizawa, Japan. This woodblock print features the sumo referee's 'gunbai' fan combined with peonies, my favourite flower. Signed limited edition of 10. www.geridrawsjapan.com/art-prints-m...

Hi new followers! 👋 I'm Geri—an illustrator and sumo-obsessed Japan lover living in the UK. I run a shop called GeriDrawsJapan.com and do illustration for a variety of clients with a focus on kids' books, websites, and more. I'm also accepting a couple of more pre-holiday commissions! hellogeri.com

I’ve waited a long time to contribute something to @hellogeri.bsky.social’s excellent Cure collection.

I’m sending artwork off to the manufacturer tomorrow, so if anyone is still interested in pre-ordering anything from my Holiday shop, it would be so helpful to order soon 😊 I make Japanese-themed Christmas ornaments, greeting cards and more! www.geridrawsjapan.com/holiday-shop #japan #illustration

My Halloween costume is pretty niche, but I’m basically a middle-aged Japanese sumo fan who would bodycheck a gaijin for a selfie with her favourite sumo wrestler. #japan #sumo #halloween

Sorry to dip in here and post about work right away, but I am taking new work on at the moment if anyone needs anything (both personal and commercial)! I've been doing a lot of personal commissions like these lately, and am happy to fit in some more before Christmas 😊 hellogeri.com

Some new items available for pre-order in my shop—including my 2024 Japanese Christmas ornament featuring the beautiful island of Itsukushima (Miyajima)! Ships worldwide from November 28. Reposts hugely appreciated! 🙏 #japan #art #illustration www.geridrawsjapan.com/holiday-shop

Is this really where everyone is now? 👀
