📌 📌Gestaltzerfall = Shape Decomposition
Heya, I'm a freelance artist dreaming to become an in-house artist. Content varies as I learn the skills necessary to actualize that goal.
In the meantime I'm generally open for commissions at gestaltzerfall.carrd.co (or see thread)
I feel that with the recent joys of putting a fly's conscious into the torment nexus, the short story "Lena" by qntm should be mandatory reading material for just about everyone.
It's about as poignant as it can be about mind-uploading in our *current* society and not an utopia.

With yet another #DiscoElysium "successor studio" popping up, it is time for you to choose your faction. True Disco has never been made, merely 0.01% of real Disco Elysium has been achieved in the world. Will you dance with the furies, or loose yourself in their dialectics?
It is almost time! It simultaneously feels like an ETERNITY has passed and also no time at all since we began this project. It’s been a ride and I can’t wait for people to see what we’ve managed to make with this team.
No need for a manicure in the coming weeks! (may also have to cancel pedicure)
🗓️ Two weeks until #ZEROPARADES: For Dead Spies launches on PC!
Take a look at how Skills, Conditioning, and Dramatic Encounters play out in our psychedelic espionage RPG.

every machine is connected to the other not only by physical means, through cables and pipes, but also through non-material means thal lie outside of human perception. if one builds a node mechanism sufficient in size and fuels it right, it is possible to create a path wide enough for a human.
From "What awaits Aleksy", a little papers-like game about being code breaking government agent.
Demo is fun, if a bit fast paced, but it sure shows promise so far.

Smol update, I got a new apartment and moved in! Still no internet, but I can draw again. Yay.
Thinking about doing a 3x3 portrait set of Linea in my mutual's styles here to get back into it. Or maybe render some of my doodles. We'll see! Soon(?) Still gotta clear the promised 2025 backlog too 😭
Heya, the reason why I'm rather inactive right now is that I got a new job and I'm moving 300+km (Yay!) in the middle of a severe winter storm (yay?)
But also every apartment visit is 7h of driving, which is... driving me insane. Anyway, I couldnt even scrap enough time together to finish this skeb
First render made for one of my Signalis MTG proxies ^_^
One of my rules for this proxy deck idea is that I'm not allowed to rename any cards unless its a legendary spell.
So I love love love cards like Path to Exile that work so well name and flavor wise.
COALITION WARSHIP ARCHER - No -- well, not quite. The Moralintern never *intends* to violate another nation's sovereignty. That would be a serious violation of international law...
I bought a drawing pad (android) and was wondering if any of you have any app recommendations?
So far Infinite Painter seems to be the way to go?
No subscriptions (I.e. CSP mobile) wanted
I got one more little petit char doodle to post before I truly start this year.
I forgot the subtitles in video, but I put them in the alts.
The holidays are over, so I'll work myself up to full paintings again over the coming days.
When a platform starts treating your art like an AI training dataset — that’s a sign 😌
So I’m giving Bluesky a try.
Let’s get to know each other again:

Another year, another #art roundup. This year Ive experimented and pushed myself a lot. Shifting a lot more to painting in the process, I suspect that trend will continue next year
I wont pursue art as a career in 2026, so I'll focus a lot more on drawing for fun rather than technical skill mastery
What a year it has been!
I feel I have come so far with my #art. Both in terms of technical skill and creative vision. Yet I am only starting my artistic journey.
I opened this account and got 350 followers. I got my first commission. I learned how to love the suck. And....
2025 will be amazing!
Subjectively speaking, this has to be the hottest winters I've ever experienced. With the exception of a cold flash in November, temps have been so high that I neither need to heat my flat nor put on more than shorts. Consistently above 5°C here during the day
Iwish I could do more against c-change
I'm giving pluribus a shot. I already had a general idea of what it's about from the collective cultural consciousness of YT and it seemed a bit too cheesy for me. But the show is really neat so far. Not at all campy and the cinematography is great too.
It's slow, introspective and... interesting.
There is a lot in pluribus that isn't directly "plot" or dialogue. It's really good at creating an experience or atmosphere.
Later on in the show there is a moment where a character has to repeatedly listen to a mundane voice mail, and the show plays it out in full every time, in a long shot.
It's the kind of thing you can't really put into a summary, or thematic analysis, but I think it really is quite integral to the experience of the show.
So, if you too glossed over it because of the super campy "The alien hivemind would give me an A-Bomb?" marketing, I suggest you to give it a go.
