Plasticity 2026.2 is here. Assemble models with reusable assets, maintain smooth connections with live constraints, shape complex geometry with direct PolySpline control point editing, and much more. A special thank you to Max Marharit (@MaxMarharit ) for his art contributions!

Small adjustments. Smooth transitions. Slide now supports proportional falloff, giving you more control over how your control-point adjustments influence the surrounding surface. Coming soon in Plasticity 26.2. Try now in the newest BETA.

Fillets aren’t one size fits all. Conic, G2, and Chordal each create a noticeably different transition, even on the exact same intersection. Which would you use here?

Slide gets an upgrade in the newest beta. Move CVs while preserving the existing surface flow, now with proportional falloff for smoother adjustments. When sliding across multiple surfaces, Plasticity also works to keep the U/V directions consistent.

Project align, in the newest BETA, brings even more functionality to Plasticity. Reference curves can now be used with Project Align, giving you greater control over how projected geometry is positioned and aligned on the target surface. Try it out for yourself in the newest BETA.

The alignment tool is now more powerful than ever. Surface alignment constraints make live editing much more flexible. Move CVs or entire surfaces while maintaining continuity, with the new collinear option adding more control for advanced surfacing workflows. Available in the newest BETA.

Loft vs Sweep vs Patch in Plasticity They might seem similar at first, but each tool solves a different modeling problem: Loft → transition between profiles Sweep → follow a path Patch → fill surfaces from boundaries

A small beta update that makes the viewport feel a little sharper. Our newest BETA introduces a refreshed viewport cube with clickable edges and corners, a new right click menu with commands like Home View, and new options to customize edge and instance edge colors.

Build it once. Keep it forever. Assets are now available in the latest beta. Mark items as assets, export them as asset packs, and reuse them across files. Drag, drop, place, reload. A faster way to build reusable parts, kits, and more.

Sometimes simply filleting an edge doesn't give you the result you're looking for. As an alternative, use surfacing tools along with guides to create interesting surfaces transitions, fillets, chamfers, and much more. Try Plasticity for free at plasticity.xyz

Project Curve and Imprint Curve may look similar, but they are used differently. Imprint Curve takes that curve and makes it part of the body’s topology. Project Curve lets you place a curve onto a surface so it follows the form of the model.

Offsetting faces creates individual insets on each panel. Offsetting the surrounding edges creates one shared boundary, letting you inset multiple panels together for a cleaner, more controlled result.

Plasticity gives you the freedom to model without forcing a workflow. Push and pull surfaces, sketch loosely or dimension precisely, combine direct modeling with surfacing, and move through ideas without breaking momentum, or the bank. Try Plasticity for free at Plasticity.xyz

Have you used the sweep command yet? Sweep custom profiles along curves to create pipes, trim, cables, rails, and complex surface forms while maintaining precise control over orientation and continuity.

Transform commands now support Transform Instances Inversely. When enabled, transformations apply to the parent object while keeping its instances fixed in place. Useful for adjusting source geometry without disturbing existing instance layouts.

Extrude now supports direct edge extrusion on surfaces. A new mode toggle also lets you switch between Individual and Direction extrusion behavior. Extrude each face along its own normal, or drive all selected surfaces along a unified vector for more controlled results.

Since we initially released instances, they have been getting more useful and integrated into other tools. In this case, you can use the place tool and the key "i" to create and place instances of an object. Try Plasticity for free at plasticity.xyz

One of the coolest features released in our latest update, 2026.1, is the export hidden lines command. Generate technical SVG drawings from your 3D models with full control over edges, hatching, and layout.
