Black metal/electronic fusion music spanning vast sonic & stylistic territories. terfs & nazis always die alone. Fuck NSBM, metal is never apolitical. https://linktr.ee/greyfleshtethered

The New Angel / GFT Split is officially live across various platforms! Thank you all so much for the incredible support already, I'll post relevant links below and with any luck Linktree will get their shit together soon so they can all be in one cohesive place eventually.

Heavily influential stuff for me growing up, all of the crunched up indistinguishable melodies/atmospheres at play here are irreplaceable in my mind + heart. Really hoping none of the musicians are nazis!! Apparently not from what I can tell but you literally never know...

It's BC Friday! Thank you to everybody that's supported me so far, in a time of unprecedented financial insecurity it's appreciated deeply. If you haven't heard my split release with New Angel from earlier this year (or my other albums), you can stream/buy them here: greyfleshtethered.bandcamp.com

It's been a couple months apparently, so here's your friendly reminder to check out my latest music release if you haven't already (which is a split with noisey ritualistic black metal icon New Angel)!

As antifascist groups are getting persecuted worldwide, we need to remember that anti-fascism is not just a culture, but praxis first and foremost. We need more of this and also coming from within the metal scene. Don't let NSBM shitheads do their work in the dark; expose them everywhere.

the 2009 versions are still up on the BC page but I can't in good faith recommend them, I think I'm holding onto them for the sake of tracking my growth as a musician but I can't listen to them now without cringing myself out the window

Not to blow my horn too much here, there have just always been certain things I've struggled with when it comes to making music. I'm remembering locking myself in a stuffy attic at my parents house during the summer of 2020 to record the acoustic parts and I'm so glad my efforts ended up paying off

"Cascades of Black" is featured on this impressively sized all trans/gender-diverse metal compilation, with all proceeds going to benefit trans folk in need. 93 tracks for $5 is a pretty good deal imo, check it out!

Finally hitting the end of my PdH discog run, honestly it's been a real journey because I've never sat down and committed myself to listening to all of it start to finish. Really intriguing thematic + narrative elements once you dig into it, even if Wintherr is def more than a little full of himself

I'd genuinely feel content if Wintherr calls the quits after "Die Berge", it's been literal decades of work and I think his prime years are far behind him now. We as listeners will benefit for years to come with what's already been released, no need to beat this [almost] dead horse any longer imo
