My best friend would have been 31 today. In another life I'd like to imagine us sitting at one of our houses, talking about work and life and our ex's, playing Tony Hawk or some old ps2 game like we did when we were kids. It's been half a life time without him and the number just goes up forevermore

I am really enjoying FROM (4 eps in), I am unfazed by gore but the little jump scares still get to me which annoys me but thats a me thing. Many Silent Hill vibes which I adore but has me convinced it's going to end the stupidest way possible.

KIM KITSURAGI - “You need to get your shit together.” YOU - “But I don't wanna get my shit together!” KIM KITSURAGI - “Then the world will turn away from you, and leave you behind.”

He was my single handed biggest inspiration when I started making videos. I wanted to be just like him. I watched videos he made on how to make essays and tried to take every piece of his advice. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. My love and thoughts to the one most affected by this.

My friend bought me e33 for christmas and he asked if i had played it yet and i said I hadnt been able to and he said "oh shit its probably too french for you right now, im sorry" which is a very funny way to phrase it but also exactly why I havent played it yet

anyways the doc part 2 is coming but i dont love making things anymore and i fight the urge to delete everything and vanish everyday and i may very well do so once the doc is completely done. I hope i can find that love again someday, but lesson learned, never share what I love with someone again.

Okay last post of the current depression spiral but YouTube shorts also randomly serve you posts now too and as I'm getting ready to sleep I get one of my reoccuring nightmare of 21 months lol I literally woke up in a pool of sweat about this like 2 days ago

Emotional trauma is kinda crazy. Someone asked me a very easy to answer question last week and my brain simply wouldn't let me remember the answer. I still have daily panic attacks and sometimes the triggers are the strangest things, its so cool and im # loving life

I have been playing hearthstone for 3 months :) if you are reading this and havent told me to stop you are complicit in me throwing my life and time away

in just a week. this is the saddest accomplishment of my life. this is how i know that no one loves me because if they did, they'd tell me to STOP

Thinking about how Yeats' tombstone has the last line of his very last poem engraved and how its this beautiful line that sums up his life work as poet but if died now then my tombstone would say "he played nidhogg with his friend and asked him which president he'd eat"

I have problems sleeping unless I push myself past the point of exhaustion but then I get severe nightmares and I also move around a lot in my sleep meaning I wake up with a racing heartbeat and since i slept in a funny position i now have sciatica IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN

Sorry to say this but if you're using AI don't be surprised if people don't want to play your games, buy your art, listen to your music, or use your apps. It's unfortunate but this is inevitable. It's already happening. Get on board with rejecting AI now or get ready to be left behind.

Ive been making an effort to read more because I legitimately am not sure if I read a book throughout my entire 20s and man, Narnia is such a weird book. CS Lewis cant help but just interject with weird things, like he's directly telling you a story, and sometimes it just straight up spoils things

I like where episode 2 of the doc is but i've hit a bit of a mental block so im working on a 3 hour side channel video as a bit of a mind-cleanser and i'll be back at it. but i am on pace to get episode 2 done in less than 6 and a half years which would be a new PB

My response when someone asks "How are you?"

Our affairs are none of your business. I don't know who you are, and you think I'm going to talk to you about my ex-lover?

I'm no longer under the illusion that I could ever be a full time YouTuber but I AM under the illusion that I'd be a great reoccurring quirky side character for a more successful YouTuber. My only problem is i have no set of skills that would be beneficial to a successful YouTuber.

This is the lowest point of my entire life but i'm loving it

Yesterday marked 3 years since a dear friend of mine passed. We worked together for 3 years and during that time I saw him more than my own family. He was a proud man who came as a refugee from Iraq and then later Syria, and even after all he had been through, I never saw him have a bad day.

He was the kind of guy where, when I was having a day day, i would consciously think to myself "Im glad the world as someone like him in it.". The first to offer help, always the biggest smiles and hellos and a love and curiosity for life, he always wanted to learn more and help others around him.

Life goes on but I miss him everyday. I wish he could see his kids grow up, how happy he would have been to see his family on the tv at the Iraq world cup game. I wish he could have told me he played the new Resident Evil and loved it even though he didn't understand any of it. Life hurts sometimes

He never told anyone he was sick. One day here was here, one day he was gone. and I do believe it was intentional, as another dear friend of ours and former co-worker had died just 6 months earlier. Losing them back to back was so devastating and some days the grief hits me so intensely still.

When i was younger, I never exactly pictured myself having this amazingly successful personal life but some nights I lie awake staring at the ceiling wonder how the fuck it went so bad. How did 6 years of my life become source for daily panic attacks? not a single happy memory remained after all.

Anyways part 2 of the doc is coming, i recently dropped some other obligations to work on it almost full time but it is a VERY heavy one plus i've put a lot of pressure on myself to succeed so i'll probably have some more late night/early morning spirals over the next few weeks, woot!

Fuck me. I watched this because it was the first movie I saw Michelle Trachtenberg in and now Hayden Panettiere has passed away too. That's so sad. Rest in Peace, Kairi, I'll remember your voice forever.

i had a pretty wide net of shows and moves i like to watch and most of them are pretty hardcore serious stuff but tonight im watching Ice Princess and none of you can make me feel shame about it

@nubzombie.bsky.social been binging through your story playthroughs (even Ascension) and just wanted to say I super love all the stuff you've made. Really appreciate all the extra information, lore drops, secrets, and how fair the criticism of the later games is. Your attention to detail is top tier

One the one hand, I dont mind the YT monetization rules (from someone trying to get 2 channels monetized) because if you arent hitting 8k hours, you're not making a lot of money anyways. Not getting shorts monetized from long-form stuff though really sucks. that is borderline impossible to get.

Im announcing something really big and cool tomorrow and I shouldnt be doing it but its the only thing getting me out of bed right now so please show mercy and dont ask me "what about this thing though"

Video games feel dystopian sometimes because I know a lot of people are gonna drool over the ModRetro M64 stuff and not care that the creator is a weapons dealing Trump loving Israel supporter pedo who made a console covered in army drone metal, and others will buy it specifically for those reasons.

In the middle of my deepest depression ever, Ive taken to playing hearthstone to just take my mind off of things when I need a distraction, which makes me realize im a 30 year old man living at home with no job and im playing hearthstone 12 years after it came out and then i sink even deeper bc wtf

A sincere thank you to everyone for the kind words this last week regarding the SM64 Doc's first episode. Episode 2 will start production soon, and while I ask for your patience, I would also like to offer an apology and explanation as to why this didn't come out last year like I had hoped.
