I do feel bad for all the people who genuinely did enjoy the game, but honestly I don't know how any of y'all are even remotely shocked by the game that makes the majority of its money off low effort microtransactions. Then again name one other game you can be both Hank Hill and Miku in.

Funniest part is that honestly all you have to do is mod Gmod and make an open ended map, and you basically have a similar f*rtnite experience right there I say this as someone whos never played it though but idk. Im just saying there are better games out there if you are mourning.

I rewatched the South Park movie recently, and tho I have my gripes with SP here and there, the movie does a better job at pointing out the hypocrisy of parenting activism groups than most media ive seen do

The braindead assumption that anything with bright colors or "cute" aesthetics is automatically for young kids really needs to stop too. Like yeah Buddy is intentionally trying to copy that vibe, but again taking 5 minutes to look up the rating isn't that difficult.

Also controversial hot take but I don't think banning kids from the internet and all forms of media outside of The Teletubbies is a solution either. Thats how you raise a kid who resents you and will be more likely to seek out "edgier" things behind your back.

These parents are so preoccupied with xyz that they don't bother to actually talk to their children or, yknow, actually monitor what they're watching? The fact that parents often buy media with fat "adults only" labels on them and then complain, when THEYRE the reason modern rating systems-

-even exist in the first place is extremely laughable. Like you cannot even do the Bare Minimum and look for the rating and like. Talking to your child about it. It drives me up the wall that incompetent parenting gets rewarded like this.
