Why does @la28games.bsky.social require volunteers to be spammed? #la28 #lame [ ] "By clicking "register your interest" I am consenting to receive email updates and partner offers from LA28 and other organizations in the Olympic and Paralympic family, including the International Olympic Committee."

From: la28.org/en/volunteer... Is this just poorly worded? Or are you requiring volunteers to receive marketing messaging from who knows what company that partnered with LA28? Because you need all the help you can get. Asking people to be spammed is not what people are signing up for. "Surprise!"
