Update on wasabi.exe: thriving and vining

Last night we found this amazing orb-weaver spider and its web right outside our patio. It was also spooky out due to the fog.

I got bamboozled by a banana this morning. Looked perfectly ripe and ready to eat. I pick it up and notice the middle is completely mush. I open it up and yeah this thing was done. Gotta love Mondays or something.

I am seeing the GitHub Angry Unicorn so much today, this is how I imagine it trying to get GitHub back online.

I loved this mini documentary on FPV Mini Drone flying in NYC. It both reminded me of older subcultures like skate boarding (which they talk about) and of futuristic subcultures. FPV Vegan’s setup reminded me a bit of the Gargoyles in Snowcrash.

The sunset on the 4th was amazing 🌅

This video was in my YT feed youtu.be/nLHRZFPm7… The anime is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jin-… I’ve haven’t seen it but it gave me Ghost in the Shell vibes. It’s available on Tubi.

Finished: MobLand 🍿 Great series. Looking forward to what comes next. The actors really hit out of the park.

I did my somewhat annual revamp of my personal site. Cleaned up some of the architecture. Trying to lean into this idea of a digital garden more. I also created an Obsidian Plugin to publish to my site that I will start using soon. https://gil.dev/

On the Space Coast 915Mhz Signal someone shared that while in the DC area the local mesh was doing community events weekly. Someone else pointed out that the Florida Mesh Discord is also doing this weekly. I created a page on Space Coa... https://gilcreque.blog/2026/03/11/on-the-space-coast-mhz.html
