This is the Full Moon of October 25, 2026, the annual "Hunter's Moon," rising over the prairie rangeland and a harvested wheatfield, from home in southern Alberta. The Moon rose into a clear band of sky on the horizon, but soon disappeared into the clouds this night. Details in Alt Text.

Sophia’ has delightful large double amber blooms which carry a strong unique honey like scent. The rose is complimented by a mid green foliage and an upright growing habit giving great density to the rose. The rose flowers from the start of summer and into the autumn and is disease resistant.
