Snark attacks can be found elsewhere. Was avoiding possible editorial concern about my references to the presenter's obvious ignorance about brain imaging( although I used that well-known phrase "*****"😗.

Other *relevant* experts have also now contributed to the damning criticisms of 'The Great #ADHD Myth?', with more professionalism than me. But less rage-fuelled snark. Which, let's be fair, is probably helpful www.theguardian.com/commentisfre... www.sciencemediacentre.org/expert-react...

Thank you, Kate!☺️. What a wasted opportunity🤦🏻. Not to mention the ethical issues and the overall irresponsibility 😡

Open this and follow the thread - what a great event it is going to be!

Does women’s health need sex-specific algorithms? In a paper just out in Big Data & Society (bigdatasoc.bsky.social) we at the GenderSci Lab warn against the growing use of so-called “pink” and “blue” algorithms, arguing that they risk embedding biological sex essentialist assumptions into medicine.

This just arrived in the post and cheered up a gloomy day! Thank you again to the British Psychology Society for the honour and to all those who made this book possible.

Thank you - I was way out of my comfort zone! Here you go with the sprouts image!

A few pics of @ginarippon.bsky.social ‘s highly entertaining talk on the neuroscience of Christmas with @cosmicshambles.com last night. Regret that I didn’t get a photo of the slide explaining why sprouts can be bad for the brain.

What an honour😊☺️! With many thanks to all involved, especially the 'lost girls' themselves.

Thank you @katebarker.bsky.social . There was a section on the inaccurately negative impression of autism and autistic people that is part of this whole sorry saga. Got lost in the editing but important not to lose sight of it in the conversation 🤔😗

Proud of prof @ginarippon.bsky.social and her response to Trump's dangerous pronouncements on autism and paracetamol: www.dailymail.co.uk/health/artic...

Hope to see lots of you😀. Currently stranded in Widnes (or perhaps Macclesfield) courtesy of various train lines. But I WILL get there🤞

So incensed by the recent toxic narrative around mental health diagnoses (‘the sick note from life’ brigade) that I had to put my head above the parapet! Thanks to the Guardian for giving me voice 👍🏻 Why the antagonism over the rise in autism diagnoses? It’s actually good news | Gina Rippon
