So I've been doing some Saturday night thinking about #TheArchers - feel free to jump in and correct where I've gone wrong. Vince has two daughters - Steph (bridezilla, awful) and Beth (quite normal). Beth was shagging Ben, but then Ben shagged Chelsea at a party when drunk and knocked her up.

Beth wasn't impressed, dumped Ben. Vince wasn't impressed, shouted at Ben, and called in his Β£40k loan to David and Ruth suddenly. Ben had a breakdown, Chelsea decided motherhood not right now. But in true #TheArchers spirit, everyone moved on. A few years later and Vince is still with Elizabeth,

I think we just learned everything we need to know about the social care system in the UK. In a generation, care has moved from being provided by the local authority, to being parcelled up and sold to foreign companies whose only purpose is to make a profit out of it. #r4today
