Pittsburghers are simply not accustomed to this long a stretch of dealing with blistering sun blindness while driving. We haven’t seen a cloud in five days. We are fighting for our lives out here.

Someone tell WTAE they can send me to Paris and I will cover the game for them and will even record cute little features where I visit various cafes and markets and I will also sign an ironclad agreement releasing them of any protest-related liabilities as they pertain to my person and possessions

Andrew Stockey is in more harm's way driving his car to work every day than he would be in Paris/Saint-Denis. This is stupidity by WTAE.

Today while we were driving in downtown Pittsburgh on Grant Street with the windows down and the sun out my 19-year-old daughter put her hand out the window and took a deep inhale and smiled up at the buildings and said, “I love this city so much.” I have done my job. 🖤💛

Both Pitt and the Steelers dry this weekend? Solid chance it happens. The latest on post-tropical Isaias’ track and rain forecast in Pittsburgh right here. It’s Saturday, Oct 10th. #isaias #3Things2Know #Pittsburgh #herewego #steelers

Measles is here, Pittsburgh. 79% vaccination rate is atrocious and exactly why we are in this situation. What now? Something has to change, and it feels like it should start with school vaccine exemption policies.

“contact tracing found the 2 residents attended the same school, which has been identified as Eden Christian Academy…just 79% of its kindergarteners had received an MMR vaccine”— a perfect playground for the virus that school administrators & parents constructed www.post-gazette.com/news/health/...

Pittsburgh’s own Jim Lokay out there in DC just killing it

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) says he's looking at running for POTUS in 2028. Just know this: if that happens, we at #TheFinal5 will be ready to go, beginning with his greatest hits.

Read the whole article for more of his shameful behavior over the years and then marvel that he keeps getting reelected. Wild even for Butler and Lawrence counties. Note his fellow legislators still aren’t calling for his resignation, just for an apology. Madness. He should resign.

“A Republican state legislator went on a homophobic tirade at a Harrisburg bar Tuesday night, calling a gay Democratic lawmaker an anti-gay slur and falsely claiming he lost weight because he has AIDS.” www.pennlive.com/politics/202...

Looking forward to John explaining to us that we are too stupid to understand why he is doing this and also how this is indicative of him being a rational Democrat.

Devastating story showing Fetterman's latest pathetic turn is as the subject of a MAGA grift. He sends emails bashing Democrats, MAGA groups keep 75%. Pennsylvanians get nothing. Gift link: www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

Today, after six years of work, Make Room for Kids at Mario Lemieux Foundation along with Microsoft delivered to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh the first six units of a brand new customized gaming platform! Each unit houses over 40 titles from LEGO to Minecraft and Bluey and lots more.

This system was built to resolve tech/network issues we encountered in 2019 while using Xbox Ones in a hospital setting. We can't wait to hear how the patients enjoy these units. It has been a long road, but hopefully this is the first day of a new Make Room for Kids! Group hug! 💛🖤

Pittsburgh’s new hire to run the Housing Authority left her last position in Colorado due to an ethics investigation that is still ongoing yet the HACP board is out there telling the local media that her hiring is a “slam dunk.” I no longer understand anything about anything.

Pittsburgh’s new hire to run the Housing Authority left her last position in Colorado due to an ethics investigation that is still ongoing yet the HACP board is out there telling the local media that her hiring is a “slam dunk.” I no longer understand anything about anything.

This Gainey investigation is going to get so so messy now that the affidavit is public, but already I can’t tell you how BATSHIT BONKERS BANANAS INSANE this part is. I legitimately can’t wrap my head around this level of municipal stupidity.

The Pirates gave me a little private tour of their Legacy Hall at PNC Park yesterday and it’s so so good. This here really blew me away. They have a salvaged decorative spandrel from Forbes Field! (PAC=Pittsburgh Athletic Company)

The most insane thing about Pitcairn cooperating with ICE is that have you seen Pitcairn lately? You'd think they'd want people moving in; instead, they're convinced "illegals" are in their community "murdering Americans." Pitcairn will become even more dilapidated now. www.wtae.com/article/penn...

wtae.comPitcairn council meeting erupts over police agreement with ICEA heated Pitcairn council meeting revealed divisions among residents and officials over a police agreement with ICE, which was made without public input or a council vote.

Psst. It should always be closed to vehicular traffic.

Allegheny County Government@alleghenycounty.bsky.social

The Department of Public Works has granted a permit to the Pittsburgh Pirates to close the Roberto Clemente (Sixth Street) Bridge in Pittsburgh to vehicular traffic from 8 a.m. until 2 hours after the end of the 6:40 p.m. Pirates game on Tuesday, September 15 for the Clemente Day of Service.

This can’t be interpreted as anything other than him actively trying to help the GOP win elections. He got elected by promising to do the exact opposite. He was never Pittsburgh’s son. He was always a cosplaying interloper who lied for votes. That will be his legacy.

COMMENTARY: @theatlantic.com gets to the bottom of the tragic death of a Pennsylvania baby linked to measles. RFK Jr. calls the cause of death "fabricated," but MMR vaccination rates nationwide are down for no good reason as people are getting sicker. #TheFinal5

The science shows that having a purpose and staying social can actually prevent dementia even in people who have markers of Alzheimer’s in their brains. It’s wonderful that people who love their work increasingly choose to keep longer holds on their purpose. 🖤💛 www.post-gazette.com/news/educati...
