I came here to feel uplifted by seeing posts about early voting. After standing on the Carmen overpass today holding a sign that says VOTE and a US flag, I still got blank looks from 80% of the passers by. And it was shocking to get flipped off for holding a sign that says Vote.

In the largest city of a red state in the Midwest, my friend pulls up to the curb to drop me off. She sits behind the wheel of her expensive BMW with her perfectly manicured nails and expensive watch scrolling through Substack to find me the best resisters so that I can follow them. My day is made!

I was just informed by a very reliable source, that when people protest outside the Tacoma detention center, the prisoners are not fed. Not even the usual slop. Come on, Seattle, you know what to do.

I just had a phone call with an angry Maga person I have known for 50 years. He was absolutely irate. He does “not like my politics. I should support the US no matter what. Illegals shouldn’t be here and it is OK to do anything we want to get them out of the country.”Everything I have heard is true.
