Last UTAU Posting before the Weekend is over and I'd be back on the TMoS storyboard journey: The payments for Soroko's updated voicebanks has made so now we wait. ^-^ Ngl, I am quite the excited since it has been 2 years since I made her first set VBs!

And unrelated to that but still UTAU related: I have made an phonemizer friendly version of Rockefeller Street, which is more bearable compared to how I did Zivui's cover of the song, LMAO. I'll release USTx once Zivui's cover is uploaded to YT tho

I have got Soroko's JPN CVVC and ENG C+V UTAU Voicebanks finally recorded!! (Went into maximum overdrive to get these done before my mom's boyfriend gets back from the hospital.)

Since I got story boards done, I might as well make an UTAU Demo video for Zivui and how utterly skrunkly her C+V voicebank is since it ain't the standard, ASDLJDLAJSL. #UTAU #OpenUTAU

Soooo, I have recorded a kinda short experimental C+V voicebank for UTAU (namely OpenUTAU) and dawg, she might be a semi-private VB atm. ^^; (I'm setting up an instruction manual for her and will more on it this weekend.) She is also very skrunkly and has one of my higher range voice.

It's just I wanted to test out recording for Zivui while my mom and her boyfriend weren't home. That and upon a request for a friend (which is something I have been meaning to do for a while), I will try to give Soroko newer UTAU voicebanks. (JPN CVVC and ENG C+V respectively)

I can go on but you might get the picture. I'll go back working slowly on TMoS storyboards before the weekend. (which I had good progress on this week. ^^)

Btw, yes, I still have yet to make the on standard C+V voicebanks where they sound like Toad from the Mario Games (which I'd be willing to take one for the team to record with the headset mic instead of the good one because jfc, I don't think anyone else will be brave enough for that afaik.)

NOW we get to the TMoS Progress report: The past few weeks have been *slow* (The first week is trying to get use to getting groove of things and second week was back pains-) With that said, I made good progress with planning ep 6. ^^ #fanime #fanimecommunity

I'll bring in the TMoS progress report tomorrow but rn, I just wanna post the fact that I wanna show case the fact that I have successfully made a character 3D model in Blender. Might be a lil' chopped in some areas but hey, I tried me best. ^^;

Okay so the "starting TMoS work on Monday" plan didn't work out as well as I hoped.. ^^;; (TL;DR: restless night because I was worried about someone else and intrusive thoughts kicked my ass.) I am mostly better now after having a convo with my friends about it working on not doing shit alone.

I'll say that there were two things that are highlights! ^^ 1. I kinda messed around in blender and figured out a working system, in case I wanna do 3D modeling. (It ain't perfect tho, I'll be fr, LOL) 2. Watchin' @northernmissd76.bsky.social playing my two games was pretty much the highlight! ^o^

Okay so remember what I said this this post I am QRPing?? Yeah, disregard that because I discover that you have to check *distort* for the Transform effect in order to do the bounce effect in Kdenlive. ^^; Idiot thy name is Gissy but at least I made a good discovery. :'D

Okay so, I found another thing I like about Olive Video Editor over Kdenlive and that is is the fact that you use the transform tool to make the character do a like bounce effect easiler. More to say in this thread but here is a example using some old art, looool

I know my screen recording doesn't do the effect justice sooo here is the result of me figuring shit on in the software. (Still not perfect but ey, it's my first time. ^^;)

I will say that atm, Olive Video Editor still has the higher advantage over Kdenlive when it comes to the distortion effect (Ripple Distortion, my beloved). But when it comes to the bounce effect, while it took me a bit to figure shit out, Kdenlive finally has the higher advantage.

I will say, the way I voiced one character is not *too* bad. Like, it's pretty passable! The other one sounds to similar due to the range, despite trying to sound different and I cannot seriously voice a tough guy to save my life, even with pitch changes, soooo, roman 50, man.
