Albo here, I have a new mantra. “Nobody left behind” is no good anymore because there are so many people left behind, everyone can see them. My new mantra is “Turn the temperature down”. I hope this will last until after the next election before folks realise that I am responsible for the heat.

AFP Commissioner Krissy Barrett is one a smart woman. Very impressive. The trouble is Albo is unlikely to take her advice because he is firstly too ignorant and arrogant to understand what she is on about and secondly he is too spineless to step up and take decisive action and also change his ways.

Watched Insiders. Greg Brown is full of shit saying (paraphrased) there’s been a lowering of the temperature in the discourse of politicians since the Ms Higgins saga. Politicians and media are blaming punters and social media. Rather politicians, the media and Big Tech are to blame for the heat.

WTF is wrong with our media. We get live coverage of Albo and Angus speaking about Helen Haines in the chamber then Zali Steggall speaking on behalf of Independents… all good. Then the ABC cut short any further live coverage and cross to Jack McKay who then report’s on what we just listened to. FMD

Karen Barlow has a lengthy piece in The Saturday Paper - an interview with Jim Chalmers. There is of course reference to the attack on Helen Haines but notably Karen does not report Chalmers blaming Social Media. In fact he is cautious as to what he says. Well done Jim unlike your dumb fuck boss.

I saw this post. I can’t be bothered relocating the source…. China is a vibrant market economy but capital has not risen above the politburo. The govt controls capital. America also has a vibrant market economy but capital has risen above the govt. Capital is in control. Only one is thriving.

Albo wrote an opinion piece and aside from saying nice things about Ms Haines which clearly she deserves, he singles out Social Media playing a part and turning the temperature down. He has failed holding Big Tech to account for harmful content and does not say how he will lower his temperature.

The RBA are talking up another interest rate increase. If not already the working class with mortgages will have to look at their day to day living costs, things they cannot go without like food, electricity, petrol, health and education costs and choose what to prioritise. These are not luxuries.

I know someone doing paid training for APS workers. I can’t share more details so as not to identify the situation. It’s supposed to be 9 to 5 with 1/2 an hour for lunch. The attendees turn up around 10.00 am take 45 minutes for lunch and finish at 4.00 pm. Some even take 90 minutes for lunch.

Thinking about feeding, housing, educating and offering broad medical and caring services to ALL Australians. By reducing the huge and clearly inefficient and ineffective defense spending, to make 28 million Aussies do well, which is absolutely possible given our wealth, we could fight anyone.

💯 I watched it. More David Pocock’s please. He is well informed, totally in tune with the electorate, articulate and uncomplicated. In the question session he spoke freely and openly, and unlike most politicians, if he didn’t know something or couldn’t know something he said so.

This might be worth watching: Today Senator David Pocock talks at the National Press Club about “what we could build with our natural wealth”.

Good on Barnaby Juice, he’s done it all, including sharing a story of having been targeted in a motor vehicle run down attack. Not that he “wants to dwell on it” Please look at Barnaby everyone, he is suffering because he’s not the main headline.

I am advised by Westpac bank that due to changes on credit card purchases, where retailers can no longer charge fees, that the interest rate on my card will increase from 20.99% to 23.99%. A 3% increase. The change impacts retailers, there is no cost to banks. They never miss a chance to gouge us.

The NAB has instigated the first wave of white collar job losses due to AI. Watch the rest follow. Where are 2,500 back room bank employees going to find work they are qualified and experienced for? Nowhere that’s where. They better get themselves enrolled in TAFE and learn a trade.

The media are enflaming the situation by asking “if politicians feel safe, do you feel more under threat now than before, does this change the way you will go about your life, do you need more security, are you worried this is the beginning of something bigger”. This must stop, it is not news.

Many people saying “I can’t believe this happened in Wangaratta” FMD, the alternative being “I expected this would happen elsewhere” It is an abhorrent act and a tragedy. But please keep it in context. It’s one attack, on one politician. The sky is not falling. Get a grip Chicken Little.

Regrettably but as expected the media have gone into a morbid frenzy. Continuously and repeatedly reporting about every teeny tiny little morsel of irrelevant fluff concerning Helen Haines. They report Ms Haines family has asked for their privacy to be respected, but think it does not apply to them.

The ruling class don’t look much better either.

The peasants are revolting. ‘Failure of state’ | The French government is in crisis talks after one of the most violent days of unrest in years left public buildings burned, shops looted, and more than 2,000 people arrested. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/o...

I don’t know why more than 1/2 the world population are cunts and the rest are expected to accept it. I chose half because it’s impossible to create a Venn diagram that considers all cunt permutations of intellect, education, occupation, social engagement, political left or right and wealth etc.

Dan Mulino looking like a possum in the headlights as Speers targets the change in Trusts for small business. Dan keeps saying it is good policy, which it is, to help tax fairness but he is not across what appears to be a policy where the actual implementation is too complicated for it’s own good.

The Credit Card payment issue is simply fixed by banning the banks from charging them. Deal with the cause and not the effect. The banks have saved a huge amount of money by the massive reduction in their cash handling costs, yet that savings is not passed on to consumers. Cut through the crap.

Insiders mentioning Mark Butler is a possible replacement for Jim Chalmers should Albo make the call because he feels threatened by Jimbo. Perfect - Butler is doing such a great job with the NDIS and Aged Care for example he’d be the perfect pick for Albo’s plan for more mediocrity.

Being a Kiwi, I have rugby union in my blood, I’ve played it, coached it, ref’ed it, yelled at it, laugh at it, celebrated it and despaired over it. All I want is for the All Blackx to win and for the Wallabies to win too (just a little less often). Who is gunna fix them. Come Mr Kiss.

The Guardian reports both Labor and the Coalition in VIC will make abortions free, matching each others election promise. Just wait for the Christian nut jobs complaining this will result in promiscuous behaviour by women who will of course get pregnant so they can have a free abortion. Why not…

I learned a new word today from a court case in the UK regarding allegations of rape and sexual abuse concerning 6 alleged victims. “Reimagined”. Events that took place in the past are reimagined differently in the future. Imagine 6 people reimagining the same thing. Now what can I reimagine?

Don’t let anyone tell you bad things about Australian Superannuation nor shit like you should be able to use it for buying a house. I just got my statement from Australian Super Fund (the fund’s name). The return on a balanced investment option was 9.77% in 2026 and 8.47% in 10 years. TAX FREE.

Labor Ministers have their tits in a knott because their legislation is not being rubber stamped by the LNP (yet) or the Greens (remains to be seen). Maybe if Labor brought good policy and effective legislation they might get an easier ride. Bad legislation may save money but it’s still bad law.

In yet another example of Albo and Labor picking the wrong friends, India’s Modi is once again cracking down on those who oppose him. Students this time. The Modi who took over our MCG to celebrate with the Indian diaspora who funnily enough don’t live in India under his authoritarian democracy.

Today Albo took a stand. He said televising an execution of anyone is abhorrent. While others have been saying it is American business etc the tide turned and Albo finally realised he was going to be stranded on the beach opening and closing his mouth as he died in Trump’s shadow. More please.

PM Albo on Afternoon Briefing exercising his new mantra… …his govt working “in the interests of humanity” Wouldn’t it be fucking great if he just worked on the interests of Aussies. Especially old ones, homeless ones, hungry ones, sick ones, indigenous ones, and domestic violence suffering ones.

If people wanna watch it, they can - that reflects on them. If you don’t wanna watch it, you chose not to and that reglects on you. If it was banned we might not know who the sickos in our communities are.

Why does the media spend lots of time reporting on Trump’s announcement there is an agreement for an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine and interview so called experts when President Zelensky has stated it is “news to him”. Like much of what Trump says the media may be reporting bollocks.

So one day on. Putin has said nothing. Zelensky has said he will stopping bombing Russian energy sites awaiting details and confirmation from Putin. Trump is making things up as he goes along and media reports it like it is news. Trump has moved on from lying, he is now living in his own fantasy.

Frydenberg speaks about rising from dead like a privileged, entitled, arrogant, egotistical, saint. The world has not missed him. We have moved on. Clearly Joshy has not. Just what we need, someone living in the past who apparently has not succeeded as Chairman of Goldman Sachs Australia and NZ.

China and America are at the frontier of AI development. Australia is apparently only talking to America. Why would we ignore what China is doing and may have to offer? Why is China an adversary when it comes to AI? We buy their manufactured goods, cars, home appliances etc but not AI. Plain dumb.

I managed one handful of popcorn before Angus Taylor on Insiders went from entertainment to embarrassment talking about his immigration policy. Taylor is all over the place like a mad persons shit. He couldn’t hold a thread to make a stitch. Andrew Hastie’s phone will be ringing hot.

I will crawl a mile over broken glass to eat a curry cooked by Scott Morrison before I will read A Grateful Son: An Autobiography by Josh Frydenberg. Reading is for entertainment, knowledge, insight, humor, insomnia and relaxation, none of which will be achieved reading about a failed smarmy cunt.

Hanson with visions of grandeur, wallowing in the warmth of being a lengend in her own lunch time says she will not let Liberal or National MP’s sit in her Cabinet… …like she will form a government, totally misunderstanding being a populist protest vote and being trusted with the treasury.

That’s the bitter face of a man who has sold his soul, a man who looks in the mirror and sees a sad fuck and laments what he has become having pursued power he could not achieve for himself without selling out to influence and money.

The face Albo is showing us more and more often, these days.
