Who had Kylian Mbappe performing accidental Crilly and having to apologise to the People's Republic of China?

I've lived in Cork City for three Jazzes. And attended a couple more over the years. This year it crossed the divide into total, street pissing and alley puking student night out anarchy. Little to no culture about it.

Trumpism and MAGAbrain has really broken people's thinking and political elections, almost beyond repair.

Good win, whilst being far from perfect still. It's crazy how much of an improvement Jacquet has been to the defence.

I'm looking to read more non-fiction. And not sports. Stuff that might make me feel a little bit smarter or see the world in a different way. Any recommendations?

Two Irish women have appeared on international TV this week and been met with the usual Irish begrudgery from online weirdos. They don't have to be your cup of tea - let them be successful and let people enjoy what they enjoy.

Gilroy heading a daily sports pod with RTE, in what I presume will follow the exact same format as all the rest Irish media has to offer. Please, for the love of God, try something different!

I'm reluctant to import Americanized nonsense, but there's a space to offer something here that isn't the homogenised format they've all ended up becoming.

This has been exhibition pace, so hard to gleam a whole lot from it, but sometimes you just need to spank the opposition.

Posters have popped up across Cork City advertising Saturday's Champions Cup game between Munster and Racing 92. Several questions - why only now, three days out? And secondly - €75 for decent seats, €35 for terrace is a spicy meatball. You can pay €25 to see both hurling finals on Sunday.

Clearest example yet that arguing with faceless accounts on the internet is largely a stupid endeavour. As is defending the undefendable, when you think you're being back up by the masses - they're probably just bots.

When Ukraine destroys Russian data centers, hoards of aggressive right-wing bots disappear & the internet becomes friendlier. So much of politics is driven by the internet & so much of the internet is driven by Russians who want to hurt us. Shouldn’t we do something about that, given that we know it

I've seen it said several times, even in mainstream reporting -but WHAT exactly were people hoping Jurgen Klopp would be able to distill out of Wirtz during an international break that would magically transfer over to his club form? xHugs?

I'm surprised people are surprised City fans didn't show more contrition yesterday. When the opportunity arises, ALWAYS lean into the heel role.

A failed state

WASHINGTON (AP) - Pentagon says the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan will be livestreamed in December.

Called into a rural shop at the weekend - on a bikecamping trip - and got chatting to the owner. Had planned on returning later to stock up but ended up camping overnight, and returned the next morning. He had left a sign outside the door and a pack of sandwiches had I returned after they closed.

This post is unavailable.

This is all to say - the small, locally owned shop is dying and small rural areas are on their knees.

Telling my boss that he made a mistake by putting someone of the stature of Pelé or Maradona on to warm up and not putting me in the game.

Is there anything worse than taking the chance on a coffee shop in a strange town? Happened me today. Absolute muck. We need to stand up to places selling manky tasting coffee.

Heimir's stoicism amongst all of this needs to be studied!

Uefa delegate absent from press conference as Israeli accusations force chaotic scenes. Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrímsson retains composure as he also explains Dara O’Shea may not be available after returning to London for birth of child. www.the42.ie/ireland-isra...
