New Hampshire's community colleges are a mission-critical home of opportunity for tens of thousands of people across our state — from high schoolers earning early credit to parents and career changers training for their next job.

I sat down with Chancellor Chuck Lloyd and the presidents of our community colleges. We talked about what it takes to keep college affordable, train the nurses, welders, builders and technicians our state urgently needs, and help more students cross the finish line.

I'm fighting to protect Pell Grants, make the new Workforce Pell program work for short-term training, and keep federal workforce dollars flowing to NH on time. Thank you to these leaders for their partnership and the work they do every day to build pathways to good-paying jobs right here at home.

In a trauma emergency, every second counts — and in rural NH, every mile does too. I visited Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, our state's only Level I trauma center, and spent time with the teams who get Granite Staters from the worst moment of their lives to the care that saves lives.

That lifeline starts long before the hospital doors: with a volunteer ambulance crew up north, a community ER, a DHART flight crew. I'm fighting to make sure every link holds — by backing the people and centers people rely on. Your zip code should never decide whether you survive.

No one is ready to hear the words "you have breast cancer." Too many families across NH have heard them — including mine. I'm thinking of every Granite Stater battling breast cancer, every survivor, and every person who has walked alongside someone they love battling breast cancer. (1/2)

I'm grateful beyond measure to the advocates who turn pain into power. You deserve action: fully funded cancer research, screenings people can actually get, and care no one has to go broke to afford. That's my fight and we’re not quitting.

What an extraordinary privilege to welcome New Hampshire's newest American citizens from 22 countries around the world. Every new citizen adds another chapter to the greatest story of freedom ever written. Thank you for choosing America. And thank you for choosing New Hampshire. 🇺🇸

Last year, for no good reason, the Trump Administration came after TRIO. We fought back. We won. 🎓 TRIO Talent Search is now in Nashua for the first time ever, opening doors for first-gen students at Nashua North and Nashua South. (1/2🧵)

Trick or treat, Salem!🎃 Loved seeing so many creative costumes, smiling faces, and Granite State families at Salem's annual Trunk or Treat! Thank you to Salem Recreation, our local businesses, community organizations, and everyone who helped make this community tradition possible!🍬

Public education is the engine of our economy and the guardrail of our democracy. TRIO’s Educational Talent Search is a lifeline for students, helping them discover what brings them joy and build their futures. Every student deserves that opportunity and that’s what I’m fighting for in Congress.

Last fall, the Trump Administration cut UNH's TRIO Talent Search program overnight — for no good reason. We fought back hard with every tool we’ve got — and we won. Yesterday, Talent Search launched in my hometown of Nashua for the very first time. (1/2🧵)

I loved being at Nashua North for that unforgettable milestone. And I’m so inspired by the amazing educators who made it happen and the incredible Nashua students who are our future. Every kid deserves a fair shot. 🎓🇺🇸 (2/2🧵)

The history of manufacturing in New Hampshire is the history of America. From the mills that helped build our nation to the next generation of innovators and skilled workers, manufacturing is in our DNA. We helped build America's past, and we're building its future right here in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire's future is bright! 🚀 I loved joining Dunbarton fifth graders at STARBASE NH as they flew drones, explored virtual reality, and dove into hands-on STEM. Investing in our kids means investing in the next generation of Granite State innovators.

This President has profited $2.2 billion during his time in office. That is dead wrong — and I’m doing something about it. My bipartisan bill would put a ban on stock trading across all three branches of government — including family members.

Every Granite Stater deserves access to fresh, healthy food, and our local farmers deserve to thrive. Great conversation at Kearsarge Food Hub in Bradford with farmers, food pantry leaders, and community partners. Thank you to Hanna, Lauren, and the entire team for bringing us together!

New Hampshire’s family farms are the backbone of our communities, but rising costs, workforce shortages, and federal red tape are making it harder to keep them running. Great conversation in Francestown with local farmers about the challenges they face and what Congress can do to help.

Great to be at Saint Anselm with the New England Council and leaders from across NH to hear directly from you, answer your questions, and discuss protecting Social Security, supporting NH caregivers, cracking down on corruption, ending President Trump’s war in Iran, and delivering for YOU.

When Granite Staters call for help, our law enforcement officers answer. Grateful to meet with the NH Association of Chiefs of Police to hear directly about the challenges they face. I'll keep fighting to get our officers the resources, training, and support they need to keep our communities safe.

Laurie and John Masiello have spent decades protecting the medicines and research that patients and families count on. They built Masy BioServices from the ground up, and now they're growing Predictive Monitor here at home. (2/3🧵)

Laurie, John, and the whole Predictive Monitor team: I'm so proud of what you've built, and it meant a lot to celebrate with you today. Congratulations on this next chapter. I can't wait to see what you do next! (3/3🧵)

The future of New Hampshire agriculture and food is in good hands! 🐄 I loved meeting the young Granite Staters of NH 4-H at the Sandwich Fair. They spend all year caring for their animals, and their pride and hard work were on full display in every barn and show ring. (1/3🧵)

Every 4-H member pledges their head, heart, hands, and health to their club, community, country, and world, and I saw that pledge in action. I also met so many of the people who make this fair so special: the local vendors, crafters, food makers, and small businesses. (2/3🧵)

The costs of fuel, feed, equipment, and everyday living keep climbing, and it gets harder every year to keep a farm or small business in the family. I'll keep fighting so our family farms and family-owned small businesses can thrive for generations to come.🇺🇸 (3/3🧵)

Fall in New Hampshire is in full swing! 🎃🍁 Great to be at the Milford Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, celebrating the season with neighbors, families, and friends. Thank you to everyone who makes this beloved Granite State tradition so special!

No better place to start the week than the Sandwich Fair, a hometown tradition with roots back to 1886 that's still run by neighbors and volunteers! 🎡🐂 It was awesome to see families reuniting, NH 4-H kids showing their animals, local vendors shining, and the whole community coming together. (1/2🧵)

Head Start is about more than early education. It's about giving kids the tools to succeed and families the support they need. I saw that firsthand in Nashua this week. I'll keep fighting to protect the quality early education Granite State families deserve.

It was an honor to join NH MEP's Annual Summit to celebrate our incredible manufacturers, small businesses, and the next generation of innovators. Thank you for the heroic work you do for our state. You are helping build the future of manufacturing right here in NH.

Every kid in New Hampshire deserves a fair shot, a world-class education, and a whole lot of love. Loved visiting Head Start in Nashua, reading with students, and hearing from incredible Head Start educators and the amazing team at CAP Hillsborough and Rockingham.

I had a great meeting this week with our Education Commissioner Caitlin Davis and Career Development Administrator Chrissy Vander Hook to discuss bringing more federal resources to support New Hampshire's public schools and CTE programs. (1/3🧵)

We also took time to write holiday cards to our deployed servicemembers as part of Dr. Laura Landerman-Garber's Holiday Cards 4 Our Military – NH Challenge. A meaningful way to show our gratitude to those serving far from home and remind them that we always have their backs. 🇺🇸 (3/3🧵)

New Hampshire’s mountains, lakes, trails, forests, and farms bring people together—and help veterans heal. Today I was proud to help introduce the bipartisan Veterans Outdoor Rehabilitation Act with Congressman Hurd. (1/2🧵)

By helping cover equipment, transportation, and program costs, our bill would help more veterans get outdoors, connect with one another, and strengthen their physical and mental health. Our veterans have earned this support. Cost shouldn’t stand in their way. (2/2🧵)

I will be relentless in taking on the private equity companies, the price gouging corporations that are jacking up your costs, and we will fight with everything we’ve got to restore and reverse these cuts to your healthcare.

Everyone with a disability has the right to live, work, and belong in their community. That’s what Section 504 and the Supreme Court’s Olmstead decision guarantee. A DOJ memo can’t erase laws Congress passed or overturn Supreme Court precedent. I won’t stop fighting to protect these rights.

Grateful to be back with New Hampshire’s State Veterans Advisory Committee to hear directly from veterans about what’s working, where people are still falling through the cracks, and what more we need to do. Your experience informs my work in Congress — and I’ll always have your back.

October 7, 2023, was the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists murdered more than 1,200 people — civilians, servicemembers, children, and grandparents — and took 251 innocent people hostage. (1/4🧵)

My heart is with all of them, and with every innocent person whose life has been taken or upended since October 7, 2023. I will keep working for an enduring peace: one that confronts antisemitism wherever it appears, including here at home; ensures Hamas can never again threaten…(3/4🧵)

…the people of Israel and innocent civilians; protects Israel’s security and democracy; delivers the humanitarian relief the people of Gaza still urgently need; and builds a future where Israelis and Palestinians alike can live with security, freedom, dignity, and hope. (4/4🧵)

From clearing snow to maintaining the roads we rely on every day, local public works crews keep New Hampshire moving. Great to visit the Northwood Highway Department and hear directly from town officials about the essential work needed to serve their community.

I joined Protect Our Care in Concord because we have a healthcare crisis in this country — and I’ll be relentless in fighting to lower costs, protect Medicaid, and make sure every Granite Stater can get the care they need.
