Workshops & art screenings! Im super excited by this programme. Continues below..

Just almost had a nervous breakdown booking flights for musicians on Eeezyet. Not too easy is it. Feel like I've ran a marathon.. Can i be the musician next time? Can i be your drummer or drum tech or merch guy? I need to get out of town for a bit.

Im a middle man making beats and what you gonna do about it....

Just had some rice krispies.

JUST GO AHEAD NOW...

Which labels put out instrumentals, short beat type tracks?

I still stand by everything and even more after last nights sleepless night thinking my neighbours wheelie bin might fly through ny bedroom window. This storm can do one..

Would any kind soul be interested in putting up a couple of Boundaries posters and flyers in their neighborhood? Id be forever grateful, ill send you some biscuits! I wouldn't send you lots, so don't worry. Also would record stores where you live be into me sending them posters to advertise? HELP.

I'm obsessed with making beats and sampling. Alongside smacking drums its genuinely my favourite favourite thing to do. THE BUZZ.

Watched Terminator 2 last night very very randomly and it pretty much all circles around some rich dudes creating ai and robots taking over and war erupts. Something to look forward to i guess. Still a daft great film though. The robots travelled from 2029 to 1995...lol.

If you want to feel stressed...try putting on an experimental music gig in Sunderland.

When i was 16 i started listening to Tribe, Wu Tang, Pharcyde, Beasties, Mobb Deep etc in the early mid 90s i was hooked on listening to beats. I made some ropey stuff back then. Now 30 years later ive rekindled my love for sampling, beat making, layering sounds, drums & those short & sweet tracks.

Too late to upload new flirting tunes but bask in the messy minimal buzz of the the previous releases. Plan is to try keep it relatively minimal, ever so slightly melancholic with fuzzy lofi hooks. Failed on all counts but we're getting there. All free/Pay whatevers.x flirtingbuzz.bandcamp.com?

@barry.mogwai.scot Iggy Pops!?!!!

Hey! I did the artwork for fab brand new @basspope.bsky.social album ' THE CHANGING SKY '. Congrats to John on his fab new album! HUGE thanks to John for the kind invite & trust with me creating a picture to his musical ideas. This work genuinely opened up & reminded me of new styles & approaches!

Lasagna is ungodly, maybe the best dish ever....( a Friday night Indian curry is very close ).. A quality Lasagne never ever disappoints. I had one of the best lasagna I've ever ever had in a spot off the coast of Spain (yes not Italy) It was truly incredible, so much im imagining it right now.

my 12 hour radio installation Figures in A Landscape is streaming until 12 noon today on radiophrenia.scot glasgow! Tune in!

@derekwalmsley.bsky.social Hey Derek, love the Rich D James piece, good to go back to those records. Thing with Richards work is that regardless if you like this or that, the production is flawless,SYRO is mixed incredibly. Those really early ones are great too, when you think of the gear! Nice one!

This year's Boundaries is bigger than ever with more performances, more locations, new art screenings, workshops & new collabs. Its certainly a labour of love & I'm sometimes baffled out of the many folks who live in Sunderland, its a middle age man from a housing estate that wants to do this stuff.

In other news...

Many people deconstruct techno on the weekend ?

Just a heads up I'm plugging the absolute hell out of this event for the next couple of months!

The response to the first wave of artists announcement has been truly heartwarming & so really nice to see. What's even nicer is lots of people buying the 2 Day Passes!! Thank you! This year's edition genuinely brings some of the most exciting modern international experimental artists to Sunderland!

Got my tickets for this - totally looking forward to it!
