Never dim your light just to make others comfortable. Being trans and unapologetically you is powerful🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 Shine as brightly as you were meant to 🌈

"It's not art, it's entertainment" This is an argument I've seen often and I've always disliked it. It makes it seem like art can't entertain, as if the person who said it always loathed going to art museums, if they ever did.

I miss video games that follow the plot of a movie. Sure they were mostly bad but that was because of rushed developments and a disinterested team, not because the concept was doomed to failure.

Chiitan loves and respects transgender people🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Lately, even saying this will get you criticized and slandered In today’s world the crackdown has grown even stricter, and it wants to divide everyone into just male and female But a world where they can live peacefully as themselves matters more🤍🌈

Twitch have just rolled out their "Training for Generative AI" system. ABSOLUTELY NOT HAPPENING on my end.

I think it's possible to reach the correct conclusion for the wrong reason. In these cases, I think it's important to discuss with others why those reasons are wrong to better understand problems in the future.

If artists prices seem high to you, remember that freelancers have to pay for their own healthcare and stuff and we are working on a project basis, so we have no real job security (if that is even much of a thing anymore anyway)

i hate when people use the excuse that you shouldn't respect pronouns if the person in question is deemed a bad enough person. it only suggests that you can always disrespect people's identity if you don't like them, for whatever reason. it's so disappointing to see

No, you won't be faced with a trolley barreling towards tied up people, that's not the point. Hypotheticals exist to create introspection on your morals and ethics.

We need to make and watch more Indie Films. We keep going on-and-on about "Indie Animated Series", but if we just started making movies then we could eventually outshine anything Hollywood is doing. We don't need expensive VFX, we just need good writing.

Hollywood agencies are searching Reddit for short stories and ideas that could be turned into movies following the success of 'Backrooms' (via THR)

So apparently, even if you tell people your previous statement was hyperbolic, they'll still try to correct you as if you were being literal. Metaphorical language is dead.

I'm playing the Phoenix Wright games for the first time and I'm getting sick of witnesses getting caught in a lie and backtracking with "What I *meant* to say is blah blah blah" bitch I just shredded your credibility get the fuck off the witness stand

Maybe debate class should be mandatory. Since much of the Internet is debating others, helping kids learn how to debate properly and how to spot disingenuous people could help squash ragebaiting. Then again, science class is mandatory and we have flat earthers.

"We need to allow disinformation and hate speech so that we can combat it with facts" would be nice if the common response online wasn't "I'm not reading all that"

Every slippery slope fallacy is either "if we allow good thing, what next, we allow bad thing" or "we remove bad thing, what next, we remove good thing"

Sometimes your happy place isn't even on earth. I've become a big fan of the moon as of late and I find the isolating atmosphere to be quite relaxing for me. If I'm feeling anxious, imagining myself on the moon helps.

There's this attitude I've noticed in arguments that if you can't solve every problem at the same time then you shouldn't solve any problems at any time. It's what fuels whataboutism. If you can't do everything then don't do anything.

Think of the children in the past: "Don't give your information online" Think of the children now: "Give all your information to this random company"
