#AT40 never a huge Stones fan back in the day (nobody’s better than the Beatles !) but Angie my favorite Stones song. Have a Good week and thanks everybody!

#AT40 An exception to my usual Disco dislike. Maybe because the Yankees and John Sterling used it during the magical 1996 season. “Bern baby Bern” for Bernie Williams.

#AT40 Paul Beatle notwithstanding, I always thought of Ed Wynn asUncle Albert laughing on the ceiling in the classic Mary Poppins scene.

#AT40 Appreciate all the covers of Never my Love as it is a great song. But the Association’s is the first and best.

#AT40 10-11-75. Wink Martindell (not the ex-football coach) pinch-hitting for Casey. Dunno; might not be a terrible one to miss. I’ll be at a family function. I’ll check in if possible; otherwise see you all next Thursday/Saturday.

#AT40 I’ve admitted it before. Have no idea why since I don’t like disco and novelty songs generally annoy me as a waste of time. But I like Disco Duck. Go figure.

#AT40 Loved Right down the Line . Almost as good as Bakker Street(and that’s saying something!) Although at first I thought the lyrics were “Hoot Mon” rather than “Woman”.

#AT40 Oh no!!!! Richard Harris’ original the best. I put up with the Donna Somers cover out of respect for the greatness of the Jimmy Webb composition.

#AT40 Never a big H&O fan. But I did like Its A Laugh. Anybody think of other “Laugh” songs? I’ll start: “Laugh Laugh”.

#AT40 I really liked the Righteous Brothers (Soul and Inspiration my favorite), and was happy to hear them again in 1974.

#AT40 the great DR with a fitting ending to this great Countdown. Thanks everybody; see you next Thursday/Saturday.
