Hi! You’ve found my little space colony orbiting Bluesky, where I’m living my best Gundam life! Events, reviews, Gunpla, music, merch, news tidbits, random musings, you name it. 🌱

Never forget (the SEED crew attempting Buddy Holly at karaoke would be a ride)

Gundam SEED Freedom soundtrack artwork vs today's revealed Freedom Zero soundtrack artwork (CD version)

Hey everyone, running a couple of days late with this due to work - will run the randomizer tomorrow/Wed JST. Entries still welcome if you like. Catch you then! ✈️

A G-Saviour themed spread of deeper cuts from my Gundam soundtrack collection 🎵

It’s a very wet Monday morning in Tokyo 🌧️ One new Gunpla release (general retail, Japan) this week, arriving October 31. Gundam Assemble also releases the same day! ⚡️ HG Gundam Virsago + ⚡️Gundam Assemble Starter Set 01 ⚡️Gundam Assemble Expansion Packs 01 & 02 ⚡️Gundam Assemble Paint Pack 01

Just over 2 days left to enter my last giveaway this year, international post all ok! Best of luck 🌱

The new profile buttons for external links are neat! Dropped in links to my Ko-fi and more handily, the Gunpla Catalog!

Gundam Base Tokyo has shared an extensive look at the HG Gundam Virsago, I think it looks great. www.youtube.com/live/xKnudne...

As part of the hololive / Gundam crossover project, VTuber Himemori Luna built the HGCC 1/144 Turn A Gundam, in a livestream yesterday. I barely know anything about hololive (or VTubers honestly!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6go...

The previously announced MG Superbia GN-X - from Gundam 00V - has been confirmed for a March 2027 release (P-Bandai JP). The GN-X really is an enduring design, never really tire of seeing its variants. Will update the Gunpla Catalog entry a little later on!

’This is the story of the third Gundam World in the 0088th Universal Century. This is the story at the transitional period of sush people, and has not ended' Via the 'Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ Special' CD soundtrack, 1989.

Nice, the Gundam SEED Freedom Zero Mobichike (pre-paid cinema ticket) as arrived along with the A5 clear file! Not too long to wait... ⚡️

Gaianotes not having VO-34 Bright Royal Blue or CB-15 Cobalt Blue available is painful.. Trying to figure out what to use instead, would appreciate any recommendations 🙏

Gundam Assemble dedicated acrylic paints stand, at Yodobashi Camera Akiba. Tip! If some look sold out, check the usual Mr Color paint shelves at the back, as they’re featured there also!

STRICT-G and Asakusa's Ponpindo (本品堂) have collaborated on a suite of hand-dyed textile goods. Featuring the RX-78-2, Char's Zaku II and Haro! Includes drawstring pouches, charm bags and an I-want-it-already Haro cushion.. More info at: gundam-official.com/news/t2ihs27...

Heads up if you missed it! I’m running a giveaway, probably the last one this year. Global delivery all good, provided I can post to your country from Japan via the post office.

I’m planning on writing up a 2027 edit next January, but if you’re visiting Tokyo in the meantime, and want some Gunpla shopping tips for the Akihabara area…

Gunpla stacks at Yodobashi Camera Akiba this morning. So good to see after the barren shelf wasteland of two years ago.

Finally caught the upcoming 1/60-ish Metal Structure Gundam Mk-II figure irl. It’s as maximalist as I remember from the prototype some years back! Bit much for my tastes, but definitely something to behold.

Some pretty good deals at Yellow Submarine this morning..

Tamashii Nations Akiba, consistently the best posing game in town, always something to make you laugh

It's been a bit... feels like time for a cheeky Gundam giveaway! Includes the RG Epyon (Apex), plus a real mix of other items - many event/retailer exclusive. 👉 To enter, follow + repost (or quote). Winner will be picked at random, next Monday 26th October, international post all ok. Good luck! 🍀

It's a bright Monday morning in Tokyo! 🌤️ No new general retail Gunpla this week in Japan. Next up is the HG Gundam Virsago - from Gundam X - out October 31st. All upcoming Gunpla are listed in the Gunpla Catalog for convenience! Currently a bit buggy, bear with me... gunplacatalog.com

Still to catch up with the newly announced Gundam Blitz Order mobile game, but at a minimum we get an epic, wallpaper-perfect, Naochika illustration. 🔥

Giveaway incoming! Do keep an eye out if interested - should be going live tomorrow, with a week to enter.

Some bits picked up for free at the Gundam Assemble event space. Great to see the expanded suite of paints, interesting they they’re changing the label design (assuming for ease of international alignment)

Few extra snaps from the Gundam Assemble pop-up in Shibuya Tsutaya this weekend. It’s fun! Looking forward to seeing it on the shelves, in two minds whether to pick up the Starter set (looks at Gunpla backlog)..

The Deluxe set, due in November, does look wild…

Initial Gundam Assemble expansion packs.

Shuffle Alliance in Gundam Assemble miniature form! Well, I'd love Shining Gundam in the mix there.

If you fancy the full context for that pic

Oooo, little Gundam Zero snuck in there
