"my child is a narcissistic psychopath, that's why they won't talk to me anymore" is genuinely an insane thing to believe

As far as I can tell, literally every article on this quotes the same "expert" — a former estranged father who has an entire blog dedicated to absolving parents of any responsibility. He also sells $995 "consultations" where he will blame your kids for cutting you off.

Interesting topic for me, because my Dad does not give a shit if I never speak to him. At his own 40th birthday he said a total of like.... 5 words to me? Maybe 10.

I wonder if the reason Vance says he doesn't see so many things is so that he can claim plausible deniability. "I didn't see the war crimes, my eyes were closed."

JD - I've got 15 free minutes before my son's hockey practice ends, so let me see how many of Trump's enrichment schemes you didn't see that I can remind you of. 1/ First one is easy: Trump has executed over 30,000 stock trades, many on inside information, netting him millions.

Been playing some of the newer Kingdom Rush games on Steam, and noticed that the newest one + the final DLC for 5 have a lot of really prominent spelling errors, which strikes me as rather odd

In Cyberpunk RED one of the cyberwar options you can get is to get cybernetics with big screens displaying ads. Like you literally become a walking ad. Anyway that's the cool imminent future we're headed for

Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been convicted of the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. The 63-year-old former South Side Compton Crips leader was charged with orchestrating the drive-by shooting of the legendary rapper in 2023, and prosecutors leaned on his own 2019 memoir detailing his role in the killing.

When most of my old games were stolen last year, I was incredibly upset not because they are by any means irreplaceable, but because some of those items hold incredibly dear memories.

Incredibly unfortunate that Ready Player One did in fact get something right. Corps really do want to take up 90% of your screen with ads

Nash@radiodeadair.com

I feel like people have forgotten that ad blockers weren't popular because people just wanted to get something for free, it's because we can't trust ads not to fuck up our computers. If we still just had quiet simple banner ads or sideboard ads, ad blockers wouldn't have gotten as much traction.

The last time I was able to afford seeing a show was when I was in high school 10 years ago, because I didn't have to pay for it.

So incredibly fucking out of touch. Destiny 2's appeal was it's weird lore. I didn't even like the fucking game until they started getting weird and had an entire season about space pirates!
