Blanche lieterally does something impeachable on a daily basis.

NBC News@nbcnews.com

Attorney General Todd Blanche leaves open the possibility that the Justice Department could seek to block states from certifying votes in the midterm elections, though Blanche insists it wasn’t his intention to “improperly interfere with elections.”

really annoys me when one candidate throws so much more dirt and the media reports that the "race is becoming uglier" as if no one has agency but somehow also both sides are to blame.

If we don’t call out racism just because it’s Trump we help normalize the dehumanizing of whole people.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "You go up to Minnesota -- number one place in the entire country for the sale of Mercedes-Benz. And Somalians are buying them. They come here with low IQs and no money and they get rich. Do we feel stupid? Our fraud division is getting them all."

How dare AES criticize a war Vance reportedly did not support starting ?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "I see what Abdul El-Sayed says about the war in Iran. I see him criticizing decisions the president has made, the military has made. But fundamentally we are where we are.I'd like to know what's Abdul El-Sayed's solution for the problem we have right now? It's easy to criticize"

Between TikTok suspending today the Musk movie account and Meta blocking the No Kings account - the question of who controls our media and social media has never been more acute.

Always loyal to the President, I think Hannity is trying to get Zacharia fired to end fast the embarrassment for Trump.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

HANNITY: You said you consulted with people who advised you it was okay to call yourself a lawyer but not an attorney, correct? ZACHARIA: Correct HANNITY: There's a report out tonight showing 15 social media posts where you identify yourself as an attorney ZACHARIA: I think they were retweets

The president of the United States of America

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "It's called a coganative [sic] test. It's a very standard test, but very tough. There are few people in this audience that can -- once you get past the first question. They show you a lion, a bear, a giraffe, and a snake and they say, 'Which one is the lion?' Biden was unable to answer that"

Imagine starting a war of choice with no provocation and then being disappointed you didn’t win the noble peace prize.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

President Trump reacted angrily to missing out on the Nobel Peace Prize, disparaging the winner, former U.N. human rights chief Navi Pillay, and describing the decision as “disgraceful and embarrassing.”

Los Angelas is about 1000 miles further from Iran than the east coast, so this "clarification" makes zero sense.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "They would've probably hit places like San Diego, Los Angeles, first. Because the route for a missile is much more convenient."

I see a lot of negative takes. Not sure I agree. Judaism is both a religion and a people. And for many atheists the peoplehood identity is stronger. For me - much stronger. Here’s some examples of jewish peoplehood. 1. You hear people say “I was raised catholic but I’m bo longer one.” But…

California is now the first state in the nation to deem “Jewish” an ethnic and racial identity, rather than just a religious affiliation. Read more on The Times of Israel.

Most religions require an act of faith to join. Judaism just requires being born to a Jewish mother. Zero other requirements. 3. Nazi germany didn’t care if you were a non-practicing Jew. Nazis problem was not with our faith. In the 20th c. We were persecuted as a people.

4. Its really really really hard to covert to judaism, which is NOT a missionary religion. That's not how most religions operate. The reason for this anti-missionary creed is, again, because it's a tribe.

You almost never hear a Jew say “I’m no longer Jewish”. And the reason is that you don’t need to believe in God, follow traditions, or practice any rituals to be Jewish. Most religions don’t operate this way. 2. You are Jewish because your mom’s Jewish. It’s a tribe.

Joe - my point is broader. There is no magic button that Trump can press, end the war , and get Hormuz open without Iran levying new tolls and also magically have Iran nuclear operations under tight control.

Trump is effectively denying that Congress has the power of purse.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "Because of tariffs, we are taking in hundreds of billions of dollars of profits. It's one of the reasons I can offer, if Republicans win the House and Senate, $5,000 to every adult. We can do it and the Democrats can't, because the Democrats don't have any income."

banning international competition is bad for consumers and it reduces the incentives of local firms to innovative and be more efficient, making them less competitive internationally. Dumb and short sighted.

Israel's Election Committee disqualified all Arab parties today from running in the Knesset elections. I expect the decision to be over ruled by the Supreme Court. Still, shameful vote. "only democracy in the middle east"

Saddened to wake up to the news that my former colleague, Ellen Kennedy died yesterday. Professor Kennedy was an eminent political theorist whose work on Carl Schmitt shaped scholarship on law, constitutionalism, liberalism, and sovereignty. She was a force of good and she will be missed.

I just donated to this important initiative. Please consider doing so, too. Thanks!

We have raised ~ $7,000 within 24 hours of launching our annual campaign. You people are amazing! Every single dollar helps. We are 100% volunteer based. All contributions, no matter how modest, fund more transparency. Help us get to $18K to secure funding for another full year of operations!

Shameless lying has been his political superpower but at some point you start telling lies that even your supporters are turned off.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump claims he was basically lifted out of the rubble on 9/11: "Two fireman, big strong guys, they grabbed me under the arms -- 'got to get our of here!' -- and they literally lifted me up, and they started running with me."

At the same time, ~30 states passed laws or executive orders that restrict public entities from doing business or investing with companies that boycott Israel. Only the right is allowed to use the purse as leverage.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

the president is now blacklisting companies by fiat. tell me more about how left-wing communism is the biggest threat to the country.

Francis Tiafoe's parents are immigrants from Sierra Leone Iva Jovic's Croatian mom and Serbian dad won a green card lottery Learner Tien's parents are ethnic Chinese refugees from Vietnam Maybe there's some lesson here.

Sabalenka playing with 80k USD worth of jewelry in front of half empty Ashe stadium, dotted with rich fans who can afford 700-2000 dollar ticket, encapsulates perfectly the state of live sports and musics in the USA. #usopen
