He doesn't cover his shell, he's a camouflage trap and stealth expert, crazy fast and always goes for vitals. You see Leo just fucking around and an animal come at him then donny just materializes out of the fricken trees and the things skewered. Rips a piece off as a snack and vanishes again.

How to archive a thread fic... I mean I can keep remaking a post with the new part added but I'd be deleting the previous one xD up to 4 parts so far! I don't know how far it's going but I'm rough estimating maybe....ehhhhhh 3 more if I full limit them?

Forgot splinter- though he's going to get a slight redraw to simplify his shapes. He's too detailed versus the boys I think...maybe also he should be smaller... anyway! Lab rat splinter! I'll protect him with my life.

He was a doting parent who fussed over them and did his best. Using his sensitive hands to check and maintain their shells, made sure they had warmth and a cozy nest and food. That's flipped in the present with a them actually competing to be the one to rouse splinter for the night get him all set

Up in a nice robe and somewhere comfy with tea and a snack or to the side to observe training. Some things he could do himself but they enjoy doing those things for him, and they worry about him so he let's them fuss. (Shakes my fist thinking about wholesome shit)

(Common Italian herbs found in abundance in a pizza loving city.) Each tot got their own herb identification. This helped Splinter find them from further away, know when it was them approaching. It became unnecessary later when splinter fully acclimated and learned a more spiritual sight

But the boys still use herbs in different forms on themselves sometimes. It's kinda traditional and familiar at this point. Surefire way to cheer splinter up with baby nostalgia also.

In the present he's fully blind but when his boys were tots he still maintained some eyesight. It was still bad eyesight and when it got to the point where he had more trouble keeping track of them, even with his smell and hearing, he gave himself a boost by rubbing herbs on them.
