What's up when Trump hears Hegseth talking testosterone or he comments admiringly on the bodies of younger men. I wonder how much of his public behavior reflects an aging man's struggle with the realization that there are some things neither money nor power can restore. (click to enlarge cartoon)

Goes with , "Sure Looks Like Obama’s ‘Cheesecake Factory’ Diss Got Under Trump’s Skin-Trump lashed out Monday with what seemed like a racist dogwhistle." www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-... It's stock doubled in 2026. It has made extravagant decoration part of its identity and people must like it.

This shows how spot-on Obama's remark was “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but he seems very focused on home renovation. He should be on HGTV. ... There’s gold everywhere. He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory.”

halbrown.substack.comFrom Rizzoli & Isles to the 2028 Presidential ElectionA television crime drama got me thinking about sex trafficking, immigration enforcement, and a Democratic campaign promise worth making.

Joe Mitchell, the GOP candidate for Iowa’s 2nd House District gave Trump a “Man of the Century” award and called him “the greatest president we’ve ever had." I wondered why he didn't just give him an award for being the greatest person ever to live since the Stone Age - why just the century?

Here's the Alaska ballot with the two Sullivans on it. Trump wants to sue to stop certification if the Democrat wins saying voters were confused. click to enlarge image

Thanks to one of my regular A Beta Brain commenters, Jeffrey, for this metaphor. This is the image that came to my mind when he made the comparison in a comment.

Trump defended Susie Wiles on Friday, calling her “smart” and “tough.” “Susie is here, and she’s going to be here for a long time,” he said.

White House communications director Steven Cheung had praised Zacharia's “tremendous start.” Later in the week, he said she would be remembered as “one of the all-time greats.”

All Katie had to do was deflect any questions, say she was just there to introduce herself, promise to always answer truthfully, praise Trump for 20 minutes, and talk about her family. What a yummy week...

There's something really creepy about how little time Trump gives the candidates he's stumping for to speak. This is typical of his endorsement rallies.
