i actually wasn't going to write something this long, but i ended up being awake the whole plane ride home even though i was sleep-deprived (thank you the man at the window seat who had the window open the entire time), so i decided to just type away at this on my phone lol

SPX was crazy. even though it's nowhere near the size of some cons i've done, it felt really intense! doing it solo was rough... i might need to make another needlessly long blog post to process everything LOL

my voice is also gone (uncommon for me post-con) from how much i yapped/yelled in excitement. i'd never been able to talk so much about comics and my original work before! i apologize to my extremely gracious table neighbors... 😭

i'm currently developing a comic for them to be debuted by late 2027 or early 2028. a sapphic monster horror that takes place in the middle of the sea. i hope you enjoy their story when it comes out! meanwhile, you can read about alma hornygripping abt cass in UNDERCURRENT💦 bsky.app/profile/halv...

UNDERCURRENT is my first 18+ comic... about fish, repressed gay yearning, and being all twisted up inside 🔪🐟💦 excited to debut this at SPX! #art #comics #riso #ocs

Alma is a fish processor on a miserable trawler in the middle of the sea. Her intense fantasies about her friend Cass seep into the endless stream of fish she must gut. An experimental 12pg riso comic w/5 foldouts (so 22pg total?). cover is sea blue & fluo red, interiors are sea blue & bright red

📖each spread has a foldout! you can read the comic as it is without the foldouts, but the foldouts reveal the repressed inner thoughts of the main character Alma responding to that moment in the comic.
