Is he worth it? I don't think so. But this is good for the Argos and the CFL. A long term contract that will pay big $ will get noticed even in a market where the CFL is often buried in the news. So, maybe it is worth it.

This is a good way to end an otherwise bad season. The Tiger-Cats started 2026 with so much optimism. I genuinely thought they were going to contend for the Grey Cup. When Mitchell went down, it all changed. Now, something to look forward to in 2027. Oskee wee wee. #ticats

I met up with a couple friends from Belgium I met way back in 2003 when Hamilton hosted the World Road Cycling Championships. He asked me how the Tiger-Cats were doing? When I told him, he said they were bad 23 years ago. Ouch.

A lot of people (rightly) criticize Facebook for a number of reasons. But does anyone else find LinkedIn to also be absolutely dreadful these days? Insufferable people posting some cringy stuff.

Actually it kind of reminds me of Facebook a bit in the 2010s. I almost want to leave a default "who gives a f&$%" comment on every post I see. Maybe I'm just cranky.

It's "white out" day at the Tiger-Cats game today so thought I'd bring out this beauty from 1994. My signed Timm Rosenbach shirt. First time wearing this in 32 years. Haha #cfl #ticats

Surf has become my go-to when it comes to consuming social media. The fact you can add RSS and YouTube to the mix is the icing on the cake. This should have been the way we set up social media from the beginning. Huge Surf fan.

The United Football League has kiboshed the Birmingham Stallions and Houston Gamblers. I don't know how anybody can get vested in this league's teams when there's no stability. I thought this thing had chance, but I am doubtful now. Too bad really because more football the better.

Smoky night in Hamilton for the football. Real football as in gridiron not that FIFA nonsense 😁. This is supposed to be an Argo home game. Plenty of Toronto fans here but clearly more Ticat fans. Oskee wee wee. #cfl

Are any of you folks also on Gander? It's not clear to me whether you should have both a Bluesky account and a Gander account OR just one or the other. Will be interesting to see how this "dilemma" plays out in the months ahead.

The CFL kicks off its 68th season this week. This graphic, which appeared in the Vancouver Sun in 1980, looks eerily similar to today's CFL logo especially cropped. If you zoom in, you can see the letters "cfl" repeated to create the background of the football. #cfl
