The reservoirs of my city are at historically low levels, there's a hose pipe ban, and even with rainfall they estimate we wont recover from the drought until December... so of course they're planning to build a data centre nearby, because that will solve the water crisis 👌🏼

I hate moaning on main but it frickin sucks dealing with chronic pain day and night that's unresponsive to meds. I get by reassuring myself that one day it'll be gone, even if it takes years of treatment. Keep going, all the chronic pain folk out there, you got this ❤️

Sales have plummeted. Costs have increased. Tariffs and custom fees have made shipping harder than ever. Platforms like Etsy are now saturated with dropshippers and AI.

So starting September, I am fully digitising my store. All my art will be downloadable. Meanwhile, I intend to focus on creating physical paintings again while opening a snail mail club (which uses stamps - much easier!)

Sometimes I get comments on my art saying 'Looks like AI'. I don't blame people for questioning the reality of everything online nowadays, but I also can't be bothered to prove myself beyond my 10+ year portfolio, tutorials and video catalogue. So I just block them 🤷‍♀️

I suspect some comments are ragebait. Other times theyre plain ignorant. I don't feel angry or defensive about it because it doesn't detract from my creative process or end result. I feel sorry for everyone being tricked and accused by the system, tbh.

I've learned that doing puzzles really helps regulate my Adhd thoughts. It's the perfect balance of relaxation, problem solving and focus. Kinda like how gaming feels to me, I think?
