Tucker Carlson: "If you look at pornography enough or bestiality videos all day, after a while... it's kind of an attractive horse, I get it."

The Supreme Court should have 250 justices, and every year on the Fourth of July we add another one. Cases get decided by a random selection of 17 justices.

We’re going to end up where we’re just telling each other stories, with no written record

WIRED@wired.com

Workers at three major publishing houses tell WIRED that LLMs are being used for publicity, cover art, back cover copy, and emails, as some execs push junior staff to champion the tech.

I can tell red state Dems one thing: release a transphobic ad and you won’t see a dime from me

Our president is insane

“We could do tremendous good for ourselves by just not trading with countries” — Trump’s bonkers view of trade is that you become wealthy by not engaging in commerce

This is a republican

Post-Left Watch@postleftwatch.bsky.social

Shoe: "Until there's a Democratic Party that isn't prisoner to identity politics or isn't completely cucked by race grievance, I'm not a Democrat. And until there's a Republican Party that actually cares about workers and isn't completely cucked to a certain foreign country, I'm not a Republican."

Fries are Ruebens, croquettes are GW Bush, tots are a two-year-olds output stuck to a fridge

lauren@lauren.rotatingsandwiches.com

i'm tired of restaurants treating fries and tots as equally valid choices for a side. tots are an iterative improvement over fries by any metric we can measure. fries are a fully outdated technology. if you're still playing the fry meta in 2026 you're already behind the competition

If “remigration” is such a good idea, why doesn’t Musk give the good example and remigrate himself?

Toby Buckle@polphilpod.bsky.social

the restore 'remigration' plan musk has endorsed would see 10 million brits forcibly expelled

Because I’d been out in 100F heat I wanted to have a cold sandwich for lunch and it had shredded lettuce and I want you all to know it’s been a pleasure sharing this site with you 🫡

Compliance with law enforcement is the cornerstone of liberty, apparently.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Homan on people getting killed by ICE: "It comes down to one simple fact -- these people failed to comply with law enforcement ... all they had to do is comply. If they did, they'd be alive today."

your baseball pitcher name is your grandfather’s first name and the last thing you bought i’ll go first mine’s Dominic Sandals

I’m old enough to remember when Obama bailed out GM and the republicans screeched about “Government Motors”

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "Intel came in. They had a problem. I said, 'I can solve your problem, but I want 10% of the company' ... somebody said that's not very American. I said, 'No, I think it's very American, actually.' And I've done that with other deals."

Out of all the things wrong with this, Culver’s isn’t even fast casual, it’s just fast food. It’s like going to McDonald‘s twice in one day. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it’s not something only the wealthy can afford.

Elite Grifters@elitegrifters.bsky.social

Kat Abughazaleh, who claims to be poor, posted yesterday about buying fast-casual shrimp twice in a day.

Why is it always only the Democrats that “need moderates”?

Mark Zaid, Esq@markzaidesq.bsky.social

We are witnessing MAGA equivalent of destruction of Democratic Party through election of progressive Socialists. If you think this ends well for country, I believe you're sadly mistaken. Extremism on one side simply fuels opposite growth on other side. We need moderates.
