I'm gonna start dropping my predictions here: * The lawyer for the Washington DC bombing suspect will stand up in court and say in a firm voice, "Move to dismiss, Donald Trump pardoned all the Jan.6 insurrectionists.", and then sit down.

As a CSE student in the mid 80's, one required courses for all the Engineering students was "Careers in Engineering", which was a 1.25 hour class once a week. All Engineers were required to take it, so there were a lot of students in the class each semester, so we met in the 600 seat auditorium.

First come, first serve, if you got there late you could sit on the stairs. We had AMAZING speakers! One week, Jim Lovell came to speak. A nerd speaking to nerds, and he was in his element. If you have ever seen the movie "Apollo 13", ramp up the tension and suspense 100x.

He told us things about that mission that are probably still not known very well. He talked, and he talked, and we asked questions, and he talked, and he kept 623 Engineering students ON THE EDGE OF THEIR SEATS! We could NOT get enough. We were all children at the time of Apollo 13.

We watched it on TV, every night, every news break, all day when we could, it consumed the lives of the world. And here we were getting it straight from the man that was there. The 1.25 hours passed. We hit 1.5. The next class started showing up for some other class.

We wouldn't let them in. As they found out who was speaking, they started to beg to get in to hear. We hit the 2 hour mark and there were probably 800 people in there packed wall to wall. He went for another half hour before stating that he really had to leave to get to the airport.
