First year I properly attempted AoC, and NGL pretty fun exercise.Went back and did some of the later 2023 questions during the first week and it was useful to build a little helper library. Looking forward to doing this again in a different language(Haskel?) and maybe go back and do all 10 years

And thank you to @was.tl for building this. If anyone else is giving it a shot be sure to check out the subreddit too, amazing community. The memes are half the fun of this XD

Looks like we're back to 2D grids and pathfinding on day 18 馃槄

Pascal Welsch@pascalwelsch.com

Yesterday, I was ready to drop out of #AdventOfCode. Tired of pathfinding in 2D grids and stuck on Part 2. But today? Personal best, finishing in the Top 1000! Turns out, doing assembler in school proves useful. I claimed provisional #1 on the Dart leaderboard for a few minutes

Why does xcode wait till I compile to tell me about static type errors? FFS Is there some setting to bring in some sanity to this ios dev experience

We have grown to almost 700 users in a short time but still many #Flutterdev have not heard about it it seems. Because Twitter punishes outgoing links even the official announcement by the Flutter team there did not get many reactions. If you are on reddit, some slack or Discord, please

In case you are a #Flutterdev and still haven't visited our new forum I can only highly recommend to do so there hasn't been a place for in depth Flutter discussions like this before. Forum.itsallwidgets.com

Now you can do this in dart too pub.dev/packages/dar... Not quite all the features yet, but it's a start

pub.devdart_regex | Dart packageType-safe DSL for building regular expressions in Dart using composable building blocks.
Tim Sneath@sneath.org

For those of you following along with #AdventOfCode, you're probably groaning as you refresh your memory of regular expressions! Unless you're using #Swift, which has this lovely mini-DSL for expressing them. The two expressions below are equivalent, and Xcode can help you convert from the former.

Kinda unfortunate for flutter devs that some people call posts here flutters, end up finding posts about that on the feed tagged flutter/dart

This one tripped me up, the TZ variable which can be used to simulate time zones in posix systems (particularly nifty to test stuff related to date/time) has the +/- flipped around. So to simulate -4 GMT, TZ = GMT+4 馃く馃く #programming #coding

You are up to date.
