I don't directly advertise it nearly often enough, but Louny Balloony is, in fact, an actual game with a demo currently available on Steam! It's a unique side-scrolling platformer where you travel across different landscapes while using balloons to fly! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Hidden Dinosaur is taking part of this year's Steam Scream fest! In fact, it is THE #1 TOP DEMO of Hidden Object games involving dinosaurs, so if that turns you on I highly suggest giving it a play for the screamy season! #gamedev #indiedev

Been getting a lot more immediate responses like this to my self promo tweets on the other site. I'm, like, 99.99% sure this is generated content designed to be reactive by asking a question at the end of the reply, but I find the idea funny that horror and humor are totally unrelated concepts.

Hidden Dinosaur is quite the challenge for the mind. Below is an example of a player using audio cues to evade the dino and reach the exit. You'll notice the chase music gets louder the closer it is to the player. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Jumpscares... on stream?!?! I have a new redeem on my Twitch channel that gives you a chance to summon a jumpscare from my very own indie game Hidden Dinosaur (full demo on Steam)! Now you have 2 ways to enjoy the scares thanks to gamedev/streaming synergy! #gamedev #indiedev

Final ratings for tonight's Gex stream. It was pretty close for the most part, but "Chat Reacts Negatively to Gex" ended up getting a big push during the Kung Fu Theatre level for some reason.

Hidden Dinosaur is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Danica Sampsonite, the Victorian-era child whose soul is definitely not haunting this game. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

The more mazes you solve in Hidden Dinosaur, the weirder things get. How far can you make it in Hidden Dinosaur, the jumpscare game of frights? #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Use color-coded keys to open color-coded doors to escape the hidden dinosaur in Hidden Dinosaur, the funny-wunny jumpscare maze-escape game! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Some mazes in Hidden Dinosaur hinder your controls! Can you escape the dinosaur by only being able to navigate the maze backwards? #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Find useful keys to unlock your way to freedom in Hidden Dinosaur, the funny little maze escape game (demo available on Steam)! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Every maze in Hidden Dinosaur holds a different challenge -- sometimes the dinosaur can be a bit faster than usual! You'll need to make plenty of distance from it before you reach the exit door! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Finding the way out of the mazes of Hidden Dinosaur might not always be so straightforward. Find color-coded keys to unlock doors to make your way to freedom before the hidden dinosaur sniffs you out! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

In the faux-3D maze world of Hidden Dinosaur, use your positioning to peek around corners to see where the titular hidden dinosaur is lurking. Of course, be careful not to get its attention! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

The goal of Hidden Dinosaur, the funny little jumpscare game for family and friends (demo on Steam), is to reach the exit of a maze without incurring the wrath of the dinosaur that hides about. It can be trickier than you think! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Here's an early development clip of my little horror game Hidden Dinosaur! Navigate a faux-3D maze while trying to avoid the dinosaur that wanders about within. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

It's that time of year again, so I'd like to promo my little indie-horror jumpscare game Hidden Dinosaur! Navigate a series of mazes without being caught by the hidden dinosaur. What other obstacles await? Guess you'll have to play to find out! #gamedev #indiedev #screenshotsaturday

A very early level 2 intro for Louny Balloony. This one displays the full physics for the hot air balloon obstacles including bounceable balloons and walkable fuselages. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Welcome new followers! I do game development stuff, including my long-term personal project Louny Balloony, the unique flying platformer! I'll also be promoting my horror game Hidden Dinosaur soon for the upcoming Halloween season, so keep an eye out for that if you're into that stuff! Thanks!

Very early testing of the sky level backgrounds. The largest foreground balloons would eventually be able to be interacted with, in regards to the current Steam demo. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Apart from gamedev stuff, I also stream over on Twitch on weekday nights using my custom Louny vTubey avatar! Here's a few highlights from my current playthrough of Mother 3:

A very cliché gamedev thought, but I sometimes wonder if I should outright quit my dayjob to work on game projects full time. I feel like I can get so much done in a few hours of coding on my project than I can with days of dealing with the rigid process of developing enterprise software.

Totally aware of the costs of insurance and livability otherwise, especially without having any meaningful support network. But hey, aside from the income stream, I’d really have nothing else to lose.
