OpenAI's YouTube video on ChatGPT's Study Mode being silent so that students can watch it in a library or a study room is peak attention to detail. Such details directly or indirectly contribute to the #product and shape it up for success! 🫡🙌🏻👏🏻🔥

currently facing a lot of trouble with Tamagui and the Bento UI bundle that comes with it. using Bento feels like it was made by some kid. it's extremely frsutrating with a ton of TypeScript errors in the code. #buildinpublic

alright, I now have a neat implementation of @supabase.com integration, especially for auth set-up and ready. i also have my state management for auth ready with XState. I have a neat machine, a handful of states that I envisioned my app to be in and all of it is well integrated with Supabase.

but here’s the thing — after days of debugging, alignment, and some good old trial-and-error, it finally works. - shared code is DRY and type-safe - dev environments are stable - hot reload works in both web and native - build and deploy pipelines are clean

the pain was real. the config was gnarly. but the developer experience now? smooooooth. would I recommend #monorepos? Yes — but only if you’re very patient and love debugging as much as building.

what sounded like a modular dream quickly turned into: - Metro crying over symlinked packages - TS path aliases breaking across environments - Multiple build targets with different expectations - Hono & SST both wanting to own tsconfig - Tamagui needing careful Babel config across mobile & web

Real talk: a solid #design #system is what separates hobby projects from real #products. On mobile, if your components don’t speak the same language, your users won’t either. Fav mobile-first design system that just nails it? Drop your picks — always in for fresh inspo. #buildinpublic

i am back after a long-long break! got married! 💜, travelled with my wife 🥳 now, am back with renewed energy and freshness! will settle back in and resume building by the end of this week! #buildinpublic

the more i build & work with web-apps, the more i realise that no matter what one does, user-driven or interaction heavy apps like the ones in the productivity or creativity space, will always have a trashy UX on mobile. do you know any such app with a brilliant UX? #buildinpublic

building something that i’ve needed for a long time. it’s a crazy experience being one’s own first customer. i am the consumer as well as the producer. hint: it’s in the @kubernetes.io space! more coming soon! #buildinpublic #indiehacking #solopreneur

took a break to connect with family & friends and plan for my wedding next month. am back for a few more weeks starting today! a new year’s goal that I have set is to get into @expo.dev and the wider React-Native ecosystem. #buildinpublic #indiehacking #solopreneur

Books are like medicines - the right one can fix whatever is that you’re going through. This is also why you must surround yourself with more #books than you’re capable of reading in a lifetime. #buildinpublic
