I just visited Chicago last week and enjoyed the great transit and Montrose dog beach. Property looks expensive.

Only three Republican senators—Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Rand Paul—joined Democrats in voting against President Trump's tariffs yesterday. That means all other Republican senators are complicit in supporting Trump in the tariffs, which are tanking our portfolios and economy.

Sadly it seems this is the way our country is headed.

DeSantas is threatening child labor to replace migrant labor and DOGE is closing social security offices, firing federal workforce without proper vetting. When the red states are unable to receive healthcare for the poor and elderly are unable to claim social security who will they blame?

Defunding education is designed to hurt working people, not the rich. Grants will no longer be available for higher education. An authoritative regime does not want an educated electorate.

I don’t think it was by accident that the website for Jackie Robinson and Tuskegee airman got removed. Our racist regime fooled the minorities enough to win. Never again!

What will happen when the regime loses the case of illegally deporting the Venezuelans this week, will they be held accountable and if so by whom?

Just thinking, Canadians are boycotting travel to the U.S and Americans travel to Mexico for their winter vacations. My curiosity is this, are people south of our boarder allowed travel here? I’m sure the folks on the right would assume they would never leave. It’s all so ridiculous.

Ten Democrats voted yes on the GOP budget. The gutting of Democracy will continue regardless. Yes, I have considered a tropical island but it’s not realistic. I have instead cut back on political podcasts and tuned into golden oldies, I’ll never get tired of this view from my Florida condo balcony.

I have been to a few protests in Florida and there’s been a lot of support. Felon president is messing with veterans benefits, he has call veterans suckers in the past. There has been too much damage done to federal workers. Too much damage to people dependent on medicaid, the insanity must stop!
