Holy shit work was insane today! Only one 1 hr meeting on my calendar and I still had a tad over 6 hrs. Tomorrow is going to be just as bad only bc I have 4 meetings back to back.

Ex husband called today. Just to chat. Was really tempted to tell him I was watching Heated Rivalry. He is the kind that would look into it just for something to watch bc he doesn’t actively watch anything new himself. He currently has 8 credits on Audible.

Explained to 25 why I was willing to pay for everything…starting to use the CC so I can earn points. Told her I want to start traveling in 2027. “Wow. Divorce has really changed you.” 🤣🤣

A coworker’s boss asked if I could make this shawl for her in black. Told her she might get as much visible stitch definition and showed her another one by the same designer that I *know* looks good in black. I usually don’t do commissions but I know she can afford it.

Silly #knitting humor. Daughter messed up 15 rows of her sock cuff so she spent all day laddering it down and fixing it. Said she didn’t have the ❤️ to 🐸 back. I told her she should 🐸 it back and then just start on the second sock and do the first one after she was done with the second. 🤣🤣🤣

Had a long weekend and would love to fully lay down but my sweet #Maze won’t let me. At least the electric blanket is on and she is happy. I even had to put my keyboard to just the left side bc my right hand is being held hostage #catsofbluesky

Exiting! Daughter is scheduled for her State Opticians license test and practical on Jan 2. Two long years finally coming to a head.

24 called me from her Friendsgiving dinner. Laughing so hard she was close to tears. Trying to tell me “Hi”. I ask if she is drunk. Nope. She took an edible. Asked if BF took one. No. The friends made sure on who was driving home before offering it. We’ll see how this goes.

I don’t watch football but am a Jags fan. How. The. Fuck. Does Houston go from 10 halfway thru the 3rd to 39 by end of game. Did the Jags think “Oh, we’re doing great! Let’s put in 4th string Defense.” And then a round of applause and “Good answer!”- ala Family Feud when that is clearly NOT good?

Got Real Estate tax bill in today. Due by Dec 5, price went up by $231 since last year which had stayed the same price since at least 2020. 😡

Is this a new #scam? I have gotten two wrong number texts in the past month. Tell them they have the wrong number and then they say “You sound nice, come to my bbq! It’s always fun to make new friends” (first one after sending a text inviting a friend to her bbq.) 2nd one gave me name/age.
