🔍 Interested in improving how the BCIO is used in evidence synthesis? We are conducting a study to explore the barriers and enablers to using the Behaviour Change Intervention Ontology (BCIO) in evidence synthesis applications, such as scoping and systematic reviews or structuring databases.

👥Who can participate in the study? We are interested in hearing from researchers with experience in evidence synthesis, including both those who have used the BCIO for evidence synthesis and those who have not. 👉 If you’d like to take part, please sign up here: qualtrics.ucl.ac.uk/jfe/form/SV_...

We’re introducing a new Work Spotlight series, running alongside other APRICOT Community of Practice activities on key topics about ontologies and behavioural and social science. These spotlight sessions will give practical examples of how ontologies are applied in research and practice.

Our first session will introduce how an ontology is being used to organise evidence from multiple living systematic reviews on mental health within the GALENOS Project. Micaela will demonstrate the development of an ontology and its application for evidence integration across a range of topics.
