Nah, Ashley just is "They/Them". I don't announce it, and neither do they. It just is.

Fave - Lore, dialogue, silly, self-indulgent moments, and planting mysteries. Describing settings from Ashley's outsider POV. Least fave - Rewriting structural issues, restraining myself from throwing too many characters and ideas at you at once. Weeding out my overused crutch words, like "beamed"

A Victorian mansion in Selene Valley brings Ashley, Blake, Madelyn, Juniper, and Nari together; now they must learn to live together and get to know one another and themselves. They live with a cat, chickens, a duck, and a raven. They also deal with their nuisance neighbours, Makayla and Craig.

Ashley prepares breakfast for the household because that's what they were raised to do in Sunshire, where they grew a communally, and they want to keep everyone fed and happy. Their go-to is pancakes or, for something more savoury, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, and avocado on toast!

Ashley is quick to warm to people and too open for their own good. Blake is guarded and keeps many secrets. Madelyn seems open, but there are certain things she keeps hidden. Nari is guarded and puts up a cold front. Juniper is open to people, but she won't admit when something is bothering her.

Their aging varies. Some have longer lifespans than others. The story begins in the 1980s, and their lives will be shown over the years as they try to adapt to changing times.

Yeah, I dress the most like Ashley with some Nari, Madelyn, and Juniper rolled in. I'd say my style is 'Whimsigoth'

Ashley reads cook books. Madelyn prefers reading manga/comics. Blake would read anything to escape Sunshire. Andreas reads ancient occult books. Nari would love Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles but write her own version with lesbians instead. Juniper would love 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.'
