Went to Halloween horror nights with a group of friends tonight, we must’ve hit every maze and ride. I also accidentally walked into a deatheater and he did not kill me which was very generous of him. Loved the mazes: Hellraiser, Sinners, and Ozzy take my top three this year.

Such a great night out with good friends, tomorrow is going to be insane.

Final Fantasy Resonance is so cool. I love the way they’ve done the sprites mixed in with awesome vfx and camera angles. It reminds me of the old school Newgrounds flash animations, but even better. It’s a fulfillment of what we hoped these games might look like some day as kids.

“Other mommy” was surprisingly good. It was an interesting concept and the film had a lot more to say about family and relationships than I expected. Jessica Chastain was incredible in the titular role.

Have I talked about how much I love "Rent"? I don't think I have. One of my favorite "Christmas movies", there is something special about that time and place. I was there in the 90s during the AIDS epidemic and now watching it back I relate so much to the characters. Their humanity and their hope.

If you liked the original Hellraiser I am begging you to buy the new game that dropped today, they absolutely nailed (ha) it. They get the aesthetic of the film, being in the labyrinth is incredible looking, and the story is great. One warning: tons of explicit gore and sex, like a lot.

Galactic Racer initial thoughts: very fun arcade style racing game. The sense of speed is fantastic. Also damn is it optimized, running at 150 fps on my 4080. If you always wanted to live the podrace scene from episode 1, this is as close as it gets.
