Reminder: when you're checking clocks today, also CHECK YOUR SMOKE AND CO2 ALARMS. If they use replaceable batteries, the extra hour is a great time to always put in fresh batteries. Otherwise check they're working, and check the date on the alarm as they need replacing every 10 years.

Somehow even though ai bots will be booking your ticket from an ai agent there will still be a separate 'booking fee'

I wonder if this is the thing that gets people to use AI personal agents - you won’t able to book a tennis court, gig to a concert, a restaurant table at a popular restaurant without one - rpt by @marinovik.bsky.social and Jason Ma as.ft.com/r/0a01397f-6...

This is actually kinda funny. Earlier this year MAFS were in trouble for not sharing details with cast about partners previous drug / violence convictions. Now they're in trouble for sharing too much about a cast member. Maybe they should get some professional advice at some point?

Maybe, just maybe, if the show finds things they feel they should disclose to the on-screen partner THEY SHOULDN'T CAST THAT PERSON! or you know, just make a TV quiz or something?

"Your starter for 10: should you marry someone you've only just met, who was picked by people far more interested in dramatic and explosive television then your well-being?" A) No B) also no, but delived with the volume and ferocity of a banshee stubbing her toe

Presumably the problem is that any sensible professional would say "You're throwing couples together for TV entertainment? Why would you do that?"

This is clearly just to hamper the press. There's no way Trump ever swims. I'm not even sure he'd float, unless the old witch trial logic is actually true.

President Trump has pushed to move briefings out of the White House press room. Aides say he wants an indoor swimming pool instead. nyti.ms/4eoW3AV

Trump claims Charles wanted to bring 293 people to meet him. Only way you'd find 293 Brits who actually wanted to meet Trump would be if we could call him "Noncey Reagan" to his face.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump rants like a lunatic at a women's health event: "That stone is so beautiful ... see the cushions? Those beautiful yellow cushions? Don't they feel nice? I have them specially made ... you have the new heliport and ballroom."

Landlords providing below minimal facilities to make more money off residents? Private companies exploiting the vulnerable for profit? Those in need not getting the support they need, but all the blame for the shortfall? What entirely unprecedented behaviour! www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

bbc.co.ukCompanies exploiting welfare system by using residents as 'cash cows,' BBC findsAgents try to attract people on housing benefit by using social media videos that offer free rooms and holidays.

Also feels like most of the real war-era generation were quite aware of where racist movements get you and really didn't want to go back to that.

This could only have been funnier if he'd have said "I don't go around calling names and mocking people... like sleepy crooked Joe Biden..."

Ian Martin with the best insight you'll read this week

Call me old-fashioned, but I miss the days when a headline told you what the story was about, rather than its clickbaity successor eg "Three words that mean we could all be dead in a fortnight".

"The actor from that show with the guy with that mustache. Looks like David thingy*" *May be an actor, maybe an acquaintance I've never met. May not be called David.
