@cascoinfoundation.org @bft.wtf You guys criticize Tether but do you have a drone show with memes? I didn't think so! www.youtube.com/watch?v=oogS...
@quarkus.io afaik you're the biggest project encouraging the use of Jib. Google has just abandoned Kaniko and is doing less than the bare minimum maintaining Jib, with bugs and PRs left untouched for more than a year. A fork governed by people who care about community contributions would be nice.
I never understood the stance "the issue isn't Jira but how it's configured". If a tool enables and encourages such bad practices, it's definitely at fault.
What would your reaction be to this question: "Anyone else having a hard time getting their most senior engineers to consistently use JIRA? The most enthusiastic adopters on our team are PMs and me (the founder / CEO)" Is your reaction different if we substitute JIRA with AI?
Do I know anyone also arriving in Warsaw tomorrow Tuesday afternoon for @rustikon.dev @scalar-conf.com? Hit me up if you want to hang out or explore the city a bit. 🙂

@fmassot.bsky.social votre documentation mentionne le dépôt github.com/quickwit-oss... qui n'existe pas/plus? 😅

I booked my flights and hotel for the upcoming @rustikon.dev @scalar-conf.com 🙂 My employer's travel portal (Amadeus Cytric) didn't even suck too much this time!
I'm exactly in the demographics where Trump wants more immigrants from: www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024... I went to a top school and by almost complete luck I then got hired by the biggest consumer electronics company in the world without even really trying, where I worked 5 years.
Hello friends in Japan. Do I know anyone using +メッセージ? Are mobile operators encouraging subscribers towards Google Messages lately? Did they communicate when iOS 18 would support RCS in Japan? @reibitto.bsky.social @kto.so @xuwei-k.bsky.social maybe?
"Scala 3, released in May 2021, has been moved to the Late Majority category as development in the Scala 3 release train has been slow." @infoq.com this is a funny one! 🤪

Work in progress: I'm trying to make a good project template for solving the Advent of Code in Scala 3: github.com/hygt/aoc2024 Suggestions welcome.
I never understood the positioning of the first Pixel Tablet. It should be $100 cheaper than the iPad not $100 over. It's insane how bad Google's hardware strategy is after all these years.
@bft.wtf what's up with the impersonation bots targeting you in particular. I already reported two of them today. 😅
So I installed Skeets on my iPad because the official client is meh, I’m impressed. Makes me want try out third party clients on Android too.
With Spark 4.0 coming, some people might need to migrate codebases from Scala 2.12 to 2.13 and face pains that the rest of the community experienced 5 years ago... I wrote a small guide to help you through the process: substack.com/home/post/p-... #scala #spark
Anyone using www.denormalized.io? I'm looking for real-time stream processing in both native Rust plus Python bindings (for instance from notebooks), from/to Kafka and S3. #streaming #rust #kafka #datafusion
I wrote a little piece on RCS, trying to explain why it's still a frustrating messaging solution in 2024: substack.com/home/post/p-... #rcs #jibe #ios #android
You are up to date.
