I don't want to sound like a dick but sometimes I'm talking to people and I'm like wow...there is no way I'm THIS much smarter than you. I didn't go to college, my ability to do math caps out at what I need to be a cashier, and I can only pronounce cinnamon right on the 1st try 30% of the time.

I'm watching Scream 7, and because of the emphasis on technology and the way the literal opening of the movie featured two knife blocks arguing about whether or not Stu survived, I feel like he's not actually alive, but when he popped up on the screen I yelled NO FUCKIN WAY.

Sometimes I think about when Adele really started blowing up in 2011 during the 21 album cycle, and I was basically vibrating out of my skin the entire time, because I'd been in her camp since Chasing Pavements got me out of the worst relationship I'd had up til that point.

Bands/artists I did this for (regrets marked): The Eagles The Beatles ❌️ Led Zeppelin ❌️ Queen ❌️ Heart Cher Van Halen ❌️ Rush ❌️ Fleetwood Mac Pink Floyd ❌️ Black Sabbath Herman's Hermits ❌️ David Bowie ❌️ Dolly Parton Michael Jackson (J5 era included) Creedance Clearwater Revival

for instance, my dad claims both Nirvana and Linkin Park which...get off my lawn, Hybrid Theory came out when you were 31. But yeah, there were definitely a few bands I regret doing full listens of. To this day, I can't stand Pink Floyd. I like all of one Led Zeppelin song. Rush? Get away from me.

My dumbest, most anime brain-rotted bit is the way I will go "sing it, Robert!" every time an REO Speedwagon song comes on the radio. My husband (who has actually watched the anime I am referencing; I have not) loves this stupid bit to death. I will keep doing it, because I love hearing him laugh.
