I like the author for work they do elsewhere, but this book keeps talking about waste and shoving typos in my face. I might not give it much longer.

Sometimes I look at how many words other writers (professional at that!) pump out per day and I wonder if I broke something that turned me into a leaky word faucet.

I think it might have been fixing my typing habits back in 2019 and gaining an additional 200 wpm for my normal 25 min bursts. Taking off weighted clothing for my brain to my hands.

Of course, note that the speed and quantity you write does not determine your worth as a writer at all.
