Hey.Café

Hey, we are looking at maybe doing contests, and we might want to include some of the main cafés like for example the Photography café. We are just looking for some feedback to start so if you have any ideas on what you would like to see just comment.

Good morning everyone. And welcome to Hey.Café Park...

Everything is falling around us and it's spooky time. So a few special things are going live today. Time to break out the pumpkins and look out for the bats and ghosts. 🎃🦇👻

We have made it work! You can now pick multiple photos from the small conversation creation box! When you pick 1 image it works like before, but if you pick more we take you to the full editor and upload all the images picked.

The week is half over already! What the heck! It just started...

We passed 49,000 accounts today. Will be so cool when we say we have over 50k!

You can now pinch, zoom, and pan on images on mobile. Give it a try.

New guide is now up! How to do everyone mentions as an admin in a Café for keeping users up to date. https://help.hey.cafe/advanced-guides/cafes/updating-users-with-everyone-mentions

Hello Thursday!

Time for the weekend. Let's hope it's relaxing. 🫣

We added preview images for accounts, cafés and conversations (conversation version is limited at the moment). This will show when you share to external services, but also in the share sheet you can access the images and save them to share if you want.

Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦️

We are age verification ready. We know it can be a pain so we hopefully made it simple and now it works without needing to do so on sign-up.

Who dis? New café? https://hey.cafe/conversation/th4f9h4ia5kto0a

We have a new feed type on the site! The activity feed. Shows conversations by most recent activity (interacted with) like a new reaction or comment made on it. This helps surface old content that is having interactions unlike the fresh and hot that only shows stuff from the last day.

Forgot to update sooner but everything with one CDN has been fixed.

There is an outage at our CDN and image storage provider bunny.net. Image uploads might not work for a little bit. https://status.bunny.net/incidents/2bt28j2rmt01

How is everyone today so far?

We passed 300,000 conversations!

By tomorrow we will have passed 300,000 conversations created!

Everyone likes updates. Check out low data mode in settings if you are on a slow connection, you can also turn it on only for a little bit of time via the Connection area on the right menu. https://hey.cafe/conversation/uikt6drv8qoal8c

We are back! What do you want to see in our blog? https://blog.hey.cafe/article/e45y0mnmsn8zxvh

Monday is now almost over....

Apologies but a stable version update failed to get pushed correctly breaking the site for the last hour for anyone trying to load it. This has been fixed.

Big fan of the café Café au Lait. Join it and start some conversations. https://hey.cafe/!cafe_au_lait

New weekend is here, and as someone else pointed out it's a 6-7 weekend..... Oh gosh so sorry for that.... What are your weekend plans?

How was everyone’s week? Do anything exciting?

Do you know or follow some content creators you think should join Hey.Café? It never hurts to suggest they check us out, as we make it easier for people to follow content creators since we do not limit what users see via algorithms, you follow someone you will always see it in order.

We have a new forum view for cafés to have better sorting and community interaction with tags (categories). If you have any ideas for the new forum view please comment so we can make it better.

We just pushed out a quick fix for a breaking change made in FireFox v151. You should be good to go.

What quality of life features should we be adding next? Comment what you would like to see next as something that would make things better for you, or for others.
