I’ve been a bit stressed about getting to work late, so I rushed out the door not registering it was 7:40 and not 8:40. Ended up getting to work an hour early. 😅

I think immigration forgot to process my information because it’s been nearly a month and I’ve two weeks since my new residency card should have been sent. Call and the hotline had to call the island directly because they said nothing was processed. 😨😱😯

Replaying Stormblood for the first time, since I story skipped with most of my other alts, and good lord does Lyse get a lot of pep talks. Every scene she’s in she’s feeling down about the circumstances and the character she’s talking to tries to boost her confidence. Including the WoL. Girl.

So I have to be in a class all morning from 9-1:40, then I get a break from 1:40-2:30. The teacher whose class is supposed to replaces comes late at 1:50. Then the coteacher asked me if I could go back to the class at 2:15 to help pack up everything. My 50 minute break gets capped to 30 suddenly.

Then they change my schedule where I work 9-2:15 straight on Thursdays. Zero breaks. And I have to serve lunch while I eat it so even that isn’t really down time. I will never work for a corporate hagwon again after this.

Still pretty annoyed over the work thing. You know I did stuff to look busy for an hour, since I had nothing to do while waiting for my final class. Second I decide to check my phone she pops up to get a book from me. Obnoxious.

Had a mini meeting with my manager to discuss this month’s events and she also needed to reprimand me for using my phone. Me: oh, I usually only use my phone to check time (in class). Her: in the office. Me: … Her: she says she always sees you on it in the office.

Like they going to give me a strike if they need to talk to me about it again. I asked if even on break were we not allowed on it and she said “break is fine but you need to be doing at least 90 minutes of office work.” …. Anyways I got 11 months to job hunt. 😅

Thing is no one will say anything if you step out for a coffee/errand so theoretically I could take a coffee break outside and she won’t be bothered by the sight of me anymore lol

Bought this super cute animal purse to be my pencil case so I’d stop losing track of markers, check pencils, etc for classes. Third day using it and one of the kids pulled till its arm got ripped off. Rip little buddy.

My new position is very weird because I’m a head teacher but I have zero control over anything that happens because the head foreign teacher makes all other decisions. Even when I make suggestions, like how to go about doing crafts without kids getting their clothes messy.

Upside to new workplace is there are two adult toilets instead of one but more people mean they’re still constantly occupied.

They messaged me back to inform my pc was delivered, didn’t address any questions prior. Waited till Monday and asked new questions just to be sure I was hooking things up correctly and again-silence. This is the service spending 2+m won gets you at this popular English PC shop in Seoul.

Kind of annoyed that I was messaging with someone with a well known computer building shop in Korea. They were good at responding to messages until after I paid for my order. Don’t think they’ll dip out on me but answer some questions, geez.

Got most of my furniture in my room now and my cat has decided it’s for her to par core every 10 minutes on.

Sometimes I just think about Cara x Urianger lore in my head. I don’t have any other of my WoLs matched with NPCs. I’m personally not into him. They just go so well together tho.

During the scene where he meets with Moenbryda’s parents once more is the first time Cara feels a bit upset with herself for not being able to console him.

During DT I haven’t really noticed a scene where they can have an interaction yet but I’ll keep an eye out. They basically a slow burn moving at the speed of sloth lol.

(She’s also highly amused by the swimming/walking on water goofiness and teases him over it.)

In EW Cara is touched when Urianger tries to console the Loporitts because she feels a kinship with them. She would later compliment him being good with words for the first time.

Skip to ShB (Cara isn’t there yet) when the guys go to the Pixie area to pick up Urianger she heartily approves over his new look and has a glint in her eye. Urianger thinks it’s because his outfit is a bit revealing but actually it’s due to the Astro fit having gems and baubles.

She doesn’t really pay attention to him at first. He’s that cloaked weirdo that talks a lot but says nothing in her eyes. She becomes friends with Moenbryda. They have deep friend conversations over beers where Moenbryda talks up Urianger but she say’s Moenbryda’s taste in men is strange.

He’s absent for most of HW and Cara feels dragged around by Alisaie when he’s around. When he does his big reveal with the Warriors of Darkness she’s just kinna confused with what’s going on lol. “Oh, so that’s what he looks like…” she thinks passively.

Found the oddest shop that serves massive waffles, toast, coffee and kimbab.

How amazing would Beast Master be if it was based off of the minions you’ve collected? I mean, I know it wouldn’t but imagine my own attack Drippy wrecking things.

So apparently I can’t get internet for maybe two weeks and for some reason my phone internet got stuttered. Was planning to go to a phone shop to nani the f— at then but remembered I won’t have an ID for also two weeks. Guess it’s gonna be hanging out in cafes for a while.

Ordering sandwiches in Korea is always iffy. Ingredients will say “plain bagel, egg, cheese, ham” then you’ll take a bite and get hit with a layer of mustard. Why are you like this?

Teach using this book. How many pages? Unit 1. *Did unit one* Oh, only exercise 1 and 2. You did too much. 🤬 Really not gonna get used to a school that does their lesson plans weekly and not have it set up for 3 months in advance.
