6. RBKC will need strict enforcement as both western end of Pembridge Square and Hereford Road junctions which are already congested with parents dropping off to avoid gridlocked square, inconsiderate driving, blocking crossings & opening doors into traffic

7. A plan needs to be developed to better manage the schools coach traffic which is often also at drop off and pick up times with coaches blocking the roads & mounting pavements

4. Volunteer barriers are a good way to introduce & increase visibility of a new school street but should be CCTV enforced to be sustainable. Volunteers on other school streets have faced abuse causing issues with maintaining effective school street.

5. If the Notting Hill Gate action plan had been progressed (3yrs & counting), Pembridge Grdns would be filtered & facilitated the western side of the Square to also be included as the eastern side is as both are already blocked by parents illegally parking to avoid gridlocked Sq

2. The schools on this Square have relatively small catchment areas, walking & cycling should be made safer, healthier & easier. There is no need for the entire area to be grid locked during term time with traffic, illegal parking & inconsiderate/dangerous behaviours

3. Operating hours restricted to AM however congestion is similar & issues repeated during PM pick up. School street should be during drop off AND pick up times

1. Firstly strongly support in principle, this will address a major problem stretch in what is an unfit for purpose TfL recognised cycle way in a borough with no cycle lanes & an active veto by council leadership on cycle lanes even being considered

Is it worrying that the only thing that gave this April Fool away was suggesting Barclay would be undertaking an NHS wide review? I mean Barclay, I wouldn’t trust him to review the catering options for a DoH refurb app.hsj.co.uk/2025/04/01/e...

Ok, went to my local bank after it had been closed for 8 months turning it into a cafe bank… It had more people serving coffee today than assisting with banking. In fact it had double the number of baristas than available ATMs.

Regulator accused of letting hedge funds control Thames Water. TW shares worthless, shareholders won't invest. Lenders in control, want public money, will continue to extract cash. OFWAT approved price hikes, likely to suspend fines. Must nationalise to end crisis. archive.ph/vr4UK

There are elaborate systems in place for tackling death and injury in the air, rail and maritime sectors, but not for roads. The last Government promised a Road Safety Investigation Branch, then dropped it. The new Gov’t says they have no plans for one. www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/news/wh...

I rented 50 Lime bikes to see how many had issues! In the process I learned how Lime won't take bikes out of action for future use if you report major issues such as missing seats or flat tyres, due to the risk you're overstating the severity of the problem. www.londoncentric.media/p/we-tested-...

Europe & America can agree and disagree on the rhetoric from the Trump administration over the last 2 weeks but Trump is presenting a clear and present danger to Europe. Europe needs to put all options on the table

So G Network dug up all the roads in Kensington & Chelsea a few years ago now but will only install based on express demand?!? and it may take 18 months or may not even happen…how’s this even a business model?

Delaying new hospitals at Whipps Cross & St Mary’s is a bad decision Our communities deserve modern facilities to meet their needs Appreciating the challenges, there was hope/expectation of a more mission critical approach to decisions & delivery, not a 15 year plan to start

Interesting A driver has claimed this car on local social media and stated he broke down Genuine question as I’ve not been in this situation, if you break down in such a location do you just leave it there like that?
