There are an unlimited number of cutesy liberal posts renaming ICE. Imagine the power if all posts, speeches, interviews & letters to Editors substituted "Trump's Gestapo" for ICE. Is there a solid argument that it would be inaccurate?

Clearly, looking at his complete disdain for voter opinion, Trump expects The White House to be his permanent home and intends to live there in comfort as Our Nation's ruler until a death due to old age and degenerate living.

New rule: no criticizing the way others choose to resist unless you have a better, actionable idea and kind, constructive feedback. New ideas are good! Performative contrarianism is useless.

For Revolutionary War buffs who live in SE PA and along Chesapeake Bay especially Chester County I'd suggest you take a copy of "Clara in a Time of War" to the beach with you this summer. CLARA fights to maintain the farm while her husband joins Washington to fight the advancing Brits. A great read!

I think this is a brilliant framing of this issue. If the government can send people to a third world country to a lifetime of involuntary servitude, that is slavery. Query whether this meets the “jurisdiction” requirement of the 13th Amendment (the officials sending them are!)

Trump told America he had a deal with far-right El Salvadoran dictator Nayib Bukele to temporary hold U.S. deportees for a fee. Now we know that was a lie. Trump told Bukele he'd _sell_ him bodies to _own_—to be housed in his massive prison (CECOT) until death. America is back in the slave trade.

It's saddening that reporters and analysts treat the rationale of bringing jobs back to the US as a serious objective rather than a smokescreen. It would take decades to build the plants and infrastructure and if built they would be designed around a robotic, not human, workforce. Russia benefits !

These four Americans were killed in Lithuania. They were brought back home yesterday. Their President flew to Florida to make a deal with the Saudi golf tournament. Also their President when asked about them in the Oval Office said “I’ve no idea about them”. 😡

Who in their right mind actually thought a confirmed Draft Dodger could value the military service of others?

Reminder: as the Dow is tanking faster than 2008, and four dead servicemen arrive at Dover, Trump is golfing: with the saudis

I know this first hand. When I was a child, my entire community was branded as spies and sabateurs, justifying our internment inside barbed wire camps for years without due process, trial or charge.

This past Saturday night, our government grabbed a legal U.S. resident, arrested him, is now detaining him, and is trying to quickly deport him. No charges. No trial. His wife, a U.S. citizen, doesn’t know where he is. This is what authoritarian regimes do. This shouldn’t happen here.

This is on us. He told us during the campaign he was gonna purge the military, the DOJ, the FBI, and the intelligence community of people loyal to the law & the Constitution, and replace them with people loyal only to him. He told us he was gonna do this. And we still elected him. This is on us.

I stopped watching MSNBC when Joe & Mika raced to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring of a disgusting chunk of animal scum. You kept it real, Joy. Wishing you the best wherever you land. And fuck whoever cancelled your show. Ari should have gotten the boot first. Or MORNING JOY? @joyannreid.bsky.social

Soon officers will be challenged. Obey orders that attack and violate our Constitution or stand against a would-be king

And expect to hear that lie repeated by MAGA lawmakers tomorrow.

Trump on Ukraine: "I think I have the power to end this war. And I think it's going very well. But today I heard, 'Oh well we weren't invited.' Well you've been there for three years. You should have ended it three years. You should've never started it. You could've made a deal"

The Constitution. The judicial branch. Separation of powers. Checks and balances. A nation of laws. The President of this country is not a king. Please repeat.

RONALD REAGAN (1988): We should be aware of the demagogues who are ready to declare a trade war against our friends, weakening our economy, our national security, and the entire free world—all while cynically waving the American flag.

Last night The Wild lost to The Senators six - zip. More disturbing to Minn. fans, our National Anthem was booed prior to the start of the match. We just hit Canada with 25% tariffs. What could go wrong😤
