I’m ready to “Stand Up” “After Midnight” to “Tear Down The Walls” while I “Hold On To The Night” and push play on my VHS of “Trick or Treat” for #31nightsofhalloween and “If You Could See” my screen you’d be very entertained by this rockin’ 80s #horror flick too.

It’s a #metalmonday for M.E.L. 3000 as he celebrates the #halloween season rockin’ out to the #TrickOrTreat soundtrack and teasing his hair up like Sammy Curr 🤘🎸🎃💀

My youngest and I were playing Rampage on the #nintendo Entertainment System and it had a glitch that transformed Lizzie into a “Green George”. We were beyond amazed 😄

This was a great listen. I’ve owned the novelization for years, but not read it. So true to his tag line, Pax took care of that for me and it delivered. Several fascinating story points that were left on the cutting room floor.

Brand new episode!! It’s the Halloween episode where I cover the Ghostbusters 2 novelization by Ed Naha!! I also talked about the UK version of the Ghostbusters novelization by Larry Milne. cultfilmclub.com/i-read-movie...

The Return of the Vampire was so much better than the original Dracula. Better atmosphere, better Bela performance, an understandable motivation for the vampire, a Wolfman sidekick, great pacing and delivered on showing the horror that the first film only implied. Loved it.

Picked this up a few weeks back and I’m very curious to see Bela back in Vampire mode for #31nightsofhalloween and I may watch Ed Wood right after.

My wife has really helped me gain an affinity for Peter Ustinov’s Blackbeard from Blackbeard’s Ghost over the course of our marriage. A ridiculous man-child ghost prone to tantrums and troublemaking 😁

What are your favorite movie ghosts?

Well, now I’m going to have to explain to my wife why I picked picked up ANOTHER CRT television at an estate sale. “But Honey, it was a pristine Panasonic with coaxial cable hook-ups.” I’m sure that will go over well 😄

Watching Curse of the Fly for #31nightsofhorror. I like this one because it has more of a gothic horror vibe compared to the more science-terror/body horror of the first two films.

I’d been admiring this 2015 reissue of the #Beetlejuice soundtrack at my local record store and convinced my wife it would be a business expense because I will be appearing as Beetlejuice at a Halloween open house event we are doing at our new office next week. This will be the atmosphere music 😁

Totally missed any promotion for these #Halloween buckets, just discovered them during a random drive-thru order. Looking forward to finding the rest, but Ursula is clearly the best 😁

It’s not my favorite, but I gave House another watch for #31nightsofhalloween and I still prefer the sequel. This one is just too crazy in the tonal shifts from psychological drama, to wacky hijinks and any scene with George Wendt is just bizarre. Great poster though.

Look, no one is saying Jerry Only is a “good” singer, but he is passable and The Devil’s Rain album has some great gothic Halloween horror vibes throughout. There, I said it 😄

I just realized we’re this far into October and I haven’t watched a #halloween movie for #31nightsofhalloween yet. Which Michael Myers film should I push play on tonight?

A change of plans for #31nightsofhalloween , decided to go with an old favorite instead. I love how this movie wastes no time in getting to the kills and fills the time in between with humorous police investigations and quirky character actors.

I didn’t know there was a 2000s remake of this movie until I found it at the thrift store today. Guess that will be my #31nightsofhalloween pick for better or for worse 😄

I watched the first episode of Crystal Lake last night. The first half was a little too much fan service, but the ending really presented a fresh and intriguing direction I was not expecting. Looking forward to binging the rest.

My #31nightsofhalloween was a first time screening of The Monster Squad tonight for my youngest. He laughed when Wolfman got kicked in the nards, got scared when Dracula went after Phoebe and got sad when Frankenstein got sucked into limbo. He had the full experience and loved it.

Watched The Toxic Avenger for #31nightsofhalloween and I loved it. So much silliness, so much melodrama, so much cartoony gore and that new Toxie costume is aces. Plus, Bacon was a great slimeball villain. Note: I only made it through 10 minutes of the original, but couldn’t stop watching this one.

Another #themisfits Monday is upon us as “M.E.L. 138” gets his Fiend face on to chant along with the Crimson Ghost while flanked by two NECA Fiend figures that are perfect for the #halloween season 💀

For years my Freddy Ruxpin/Teddy Krueger had to make do with this much too nice fedora, but recently at the thrift store I found a perfectly singed and rumpled one that completes the boiler room vibe.

Years ago I found a #vhs of #fridaythe13th Part 5 at a garage sale, but when I got it home I found out the tape inside was Part 3. It always bugged me and so this #halloween I decided to set things right and found a sleeveless copy of Part 5 that needed a home. The movie is bad, but life is good 😄

I currently own 3 versions of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow on VHS: Depp, Goldblum and a reading of the original story meant for school kids (I used to have the Disney one, but I sold it). Which one should I watch for #31nightsofhalloween ?
