i think i need to figure out what kind of art i want to make that isn't just sketches. i think my work looks the most natural when i'm only dealing with doodles. inking, coloring, rendering, those still feel like they're all foreign concepts to me. it's why i prefer all of the sonatober stuff.

thinking over it more + having a terrible shift has made me rethink doing an art challenge while i'm starting college

i've done this song and dance before but it still sucks that i feel so much difficulty doing the one thing i'm good at

i'm happy that my work has a distinctive softness to it. i'd like to think my art is very deliberate but that trait isn't, it's entirely intuition.

i know i've never established myself as a TADC fan but imagine a jax amv to The Reason by Hoobastank. imagine how perfect that could be.

this commission is from a few months ago but i still look at it fondly because i don't think i've drawn a character that looked this perfectly soft. i love their unusual pattern, a splotted transition from black to white with bits of purple. it's one of the most distinct characters i got to draw
