I'm just a mom and wife who wants to laugh. In my older age, I have become more political. I hate injustice in all forms.

I walked around Hobby Lobby yesterday. They have some really nice stuff. I didn't buy anything because I'm still boycotting them but I did use the bathroom. That's all they'll get from me. I miss Joanns.

IN A WORLD OF HOBBY LOBBYS — BE A MICHAELS 💙 Both sell basically the same products — but are run by polar opposite people. Hobby Lobby dumps its profits (aka YOUR MONEY) into as many Republican campaigns

I literally don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped, stalked, groped, harassed, or sexually violated in some way at some point in their life. If you choose to doubt and dox survivors, just know every woman in your life is disgusted by you.

How many robo calls are you getting daily? All with the added value of 41 second voicemails. I'm having to delete VMs every few days!!! What government agency is failing us now?

I have now watched Project: Hail Mary 5x. It has replaced my #1 spot for my favorite alien movie. (Contact is now #2.) But more importantly, I just finished the book and it was better than the movie!! You get so much more insight into the whole story!! Thank you, Maricopa Public Library!!

I benefitted from this Supreme Court case.... as we all did!!!

Today is Loving Day and the 59th anniversary of the decision in Loving v. Virginia, the landmark Supreme Court Case that ended the ban on interracial marriage in the U.S. This is a picture of my parents and me circa 1986—a family that would have been illegal in 16 states before 1967. lovingday.org

Hot take, I think that the “bumbling, incompetent dad” trope is outdated and no longer funny.   Like if you’re an adult man who can’t cook a basic meal or doesn't know how to do laundry, then that’s not funny. That’s pathetic.

Disneyland will now use facial recognition technology to detect when people are reusing tickets by matching the face of the person who first used the ticket with that of whoever is using the ticket on reentry. This sort of panopticon used to be considered dystopian science fiction.
