What better way to celebrate spooky month than bringing our Status Reports back from the dead? 🎃 Our development team and contributors have been cooking up lots of exciting changes we can't wait to bring to ChilloutVR, so check out our latest blog post! chilloutvr.net/blog/status_...

Built a new set of SlimeVR trackers! Parts are from VYRO VR's DIY Set (10), cases printed by me.

Be me, comes back to vc seeing this drawn and wondering what the hell I missed lol

I misheard "Cobalt Axe" .... I said fuck it Kobold axe time.

It's been amazing to see the outpouring of support from the #ChilloutVR community today, helping us push forward and break through the fundraising goal in only about an hour. Really, thanks a bunch to everyone that donated or even just showed some kind words of encouragement. You're all wonderful~ 💜

I made a filterlist for uBlock Origin to remove Generative AI features on websites. Includes blocks for * Google AI Summaries * YouTube Ask button & chat summaries * GitHub Copilot * Facebook AI chat * X's Grok buttons * Deviantart DreamUp * Booru AI images * And more github.com/Stevoisiak/S...

Changed my look up a bit recently, vibin' with this style a lot more. Beanies and sweaters are very cozy~ 💜

seeing all these interactions i put together functioning all at the same time is just so cool to me - local avatar mirror in wasm - aiming held pickups while mouse unlocked (was mod) - seeing held/attached props on local avatar mirror (was mod) - eye tracking override while mouse unlocked (was mod)

also was experimenting with a popout screen for the videoplayer after someone got in my face during a movie lmao been spending a lot of time in vr watching movies recently so this immediately became a need for sitting comfortably

well i consider this as cool stuff, but there isnt much need for switching between OpenVR & OpenXR at runtime :/

i've been too busy to make new cool stuff so i guess i can show off the "hidden" functionality of CCK4s build pipeline :) been thinking about how to extend Test Mode for AASEmulator to be able to hook too #chilloutvr really wish i could just take a few weeks off work to get things done...

We recently dusted off an old incomplete feature, fixed, and finished it, when touching the GS in our dev environment. Dynamic Plates allows the server to set and change nameplate rank info and color instead of it being hardcoded in the client. We immediately started seeing what it could do lol.

2 months later... This is a classic example of what happens when you rightfully punish an influential individual from your platform. Friends and followers will believe their every word without question and lash out in response without having even seen the evidence. Feelings always win over facts.

This is like that one time the person who literally owns the platform stepped down...

Although considering how much said individual liked to use alt accounts to hide and divert attention from their main to behave like this, I wouldn't be surprised if this was them. 😘

Why parent your child when you can make the government do a half-assed job of an impossible task for you? "Protecting the children" is always a convenient excuse to shed responsibility for a lack of control and engagement.

My parents were very hands-off when it came to my Internet usage that started from a young age, and I've witnessed much of the same with my younger siblings. It shouldn't have been that way, and I can only imagine how much worse it's gotten over time as things have become more accessible.

Now, as a grown adult, I'm witnessing restrictions being put in place all around me. I do not trust services with my personally identifiable information, no one should, so that isn't a solution. Just look at Tea as an example of the vast amount of data leaks that regularly occur. Fuck off.

If games and media with NSFW themes continue to be restricted, I'm just going to sail the seven seas for it. Plain and simple. Either I continue to support artists and developers that deserve it, or I use the vast amount of other resources available to consume it. It's a losing battle.

Tried jailbreaking my Mom's new Kindle, figured it'd be simple given it shipped with 5.17.x which is exploitable. But APPARENTLY Amazon saves network credentials to the account via a buried "Frustration-Free Setup" toggle and automatically connected to the Internet which triggered an update. Lame...

Quality release from Crunchyroll. The English subs had enough issues, but finding this little nugget in the German subs just goes to show there was no quality control conducted by anyone - let alone a proper translator.

Got my feed back up to the same level of degeneracy that it was on X (Twitter). Most of the same artists and more. Pretty happy with things over here, not missing a whole lot. 😊

I lied, @chilloutvr.net is the real one. ABI is just a figment of your imagination.

Just a heads up for those in the ChilloutVR community that follow either @alphablend.bsky.social or @alphablendnet.bsky.social, these accounts have absolutely no relation to Alpha Blend Interactive. Currently, the only official ABI account is @abinteractive.net which uses the official domain.

Finally time to migrate my 12 year old list elsewhere. Haven't really cared for MALs attempt at becoming a storefront and embedded streaming platform for a while anyway, feels like they're overreaching for what was originally a simple anime DB and community site.
